This game actually is slated to be released 2/8/05, and Gamespot and EB Games have even said it to be coming out as early as 2/7/05 on their websites and to their pre-order customers. I just wanted to make that correction to the first person's post.
Also, it is mentioned that the game supports, new-to-the-game, a 4-person offline multitap, if you buy the adapter for your PS2. And there is a whole new PvP mode, as well as Medal Rounds, and unlockable areas for completing the Medal Rounds that you would normally not get if you ignored to play them. The game developers have said that unlocking these Medal Rounds would even open up new spells for their characters on their skill tree. There is an official trailer on the web if you look for it, that is pretty awesome. You can import your character saves from your memory card from the first Champions of Norrath, and continue their play in Return to Arms, and go on to Legendary Mode, going all the way to lvl 80.
Excellent followup game

This is a great followup to CoN - still a very solid and gorgeous hack-and-slash game that is easy to pick up and hard to put down. Tons of cool weapons. Great co-op mode will let the girlfriends get in there and give it a try with their men, and girls, try not to be too annoyed with the cantalope cha-chas! A great game and worth the money...lots of replay value here.

If you like hack and slash RPG's, you'll love this game. It has 7 characters classes, a wide assortment of weapons and armor, and lots of levels. I was hooked on this game for months. You can also take the game online and have even more fun! Although a lot of people online cheat and that is a problem, if you can find some non-cheaters, then you're in for a great time!
return to arms rocks the rpg world

this is a must have rpg video game it rocks better than the original in my opinion.
the graphics are awesome as well as the feel and the sounds are great also.
very high replay just like in the original you have the settings from beginner to hard.
i fell in love with hack and slash rpg games the game that got me hooked is an oldy but goody called diablo.
in this game you can be good or can be evil hmmm choices anyway there is alot of exploring to do as well as working on your person who u are playing.
the only con to this game or my biggest complaint just like in the original champions the camera angle as in zoom in or out can be a drag at times.
there are so many freaking upgrades you can do with your weapons as well as your armour.
another issue that i loved was the fact you can carry over your person from the original to play in this game.
you have a variety of missions as well as side quest to complete i havent bought the guide yet but i suggest that you do because i know for a fact even though i have beaten both i probably missed alot of things so it is good to have the guide handy.
the controls of the game are simple and easy to use the pain as i said above is the camera issue.
if your a fan of diablo or even the baldurs gate games then you will love this.
if your new to the rpg gaming world i highly reccomend this game to you.
this is a five star game would give it a ten anyway go out and get it and have fun

This game was very exciting and entertaining. I'm 30+ and enjoyed playing it with my son as we hacked and slashed our way through to the very end. The graphics are excellent. However some scenes can be so dark, you have to adjust the brightness level to see.
Interesting points:
Importable characters from the original game
Lots of specials weapons and items to pick up
challenging fights with BOSSES.
lots of save points
lots of room for inventory
Easy to learn even for old folks like me
extra bonus features include arenas to death matches against each other or compete with each other.
All in All, we loved it and we are hoping a part 3 will come out.
Enjoy
Very cool game

This is an quest based RPG game that is practically just "Hack and Slash" and "pick up items" . It is an excellent and semi-addictive game if you do not want to read through massive manuals to figure out what is going on, as is the case with a lot of good RPG games these days. The graphics are good, too. A real keeper....
