BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE MY OPINION

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 1 / 4

This game is better than the first champions to me because it has two more characters, and it has all these new weapons, armor, items, and areas to go to. I think this game is also a little like the first one because despite what I put above, this game has the same feel to it and its pretty much the same thing just with different details in the game. But I still recommend this game to anyone looking for a good solid rpg experience.

Realms of Everquest was good

Do not have this one but have the 1st Realms of Everquest. The game is challenging and the graphics are very nice. About the only problems I had with game is I wish there were more variety of characters and a way to change angle of camera. Other than that the game was worthwhile buying. Would suggest buying this Everquest games before buying Baulders Gate.

ridiculously bad

I like me some hack and slash rpgs, and have enjoyed the first CoN and the baldur's gates, but this one is a yawnfest. Somebody took the levels from the first CoN and rearranged them slightly. Oh look, more skeletons in pirate outfits. It was neat the first time, but not now. The levels themselves seem almost randomly designed -- the first few have some interesting challenges...walls, archers and larger units coordinating -- but about a half an hour in you get set up against enemies that walk around waiting to be killed. You could probably win the thing with your eyes closed if you tap the x button fast enough. At first I thought the "no plot to speak of" in this game would be a blessing (who needs a bad plot anyway? get to the action) but it really does make a difference. Having no motivation whatsoever makes the whole thing seem incredibly more tedious. At least in the first CoN you start out fighting in a straightforward elf-orc conflict and then learn of a bigger struggle. I also _hate_ the use of planes -- having a level structure organized by planes (plane of fire, plane of water, plane of goat cheese) is a prime way to get boring, one-monster-per-level situations. And I never thought I'd say it, but I miss different shops. With rare exceptions, you only get to visit one shop, in an otherwise lifeless "home base" your character teleports back to. The solo mode is only slightly more enjoyable than watching paint dry. If you're easily entertained, the game doesn't look bad and it works okay, but if you demand some tiny bit of quality from games, look elsewhere.

If youre first Everquest Experience then not to bad, but for hardcore EQ players its basicly the same game as the first just different quests and areas, the only thing really new is two more choices for a character, and u dont even get to choose gender for them. The two new ones are an Iksar Shaman and a Vashire berserker. The shama is like a mixture of a caster and fighter but more of a caster, the vashire is a potion user buy lots and lots of healing potions cause they get hurt like a caster but hits like a warrior they recomend that you put points into his throwin axe skills, but if the bosses deflect 3/4 of the throwing weapons then its basiclly a useless abilaty. Its still a pretty good game and defenitly worth buying and playin for the hardcore players and those new to EQ

because I don't want to waste too much more time on this game. If you've played Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance you've played this one. There's a slight variation in the gear you can buy, but if what you want is shopping head for the mall. The one selling point is the 2-player aspect, but both myself and my co-player got bored half way through, and the game's been sitting on the shelf ever since. In my book if a game's not making me want to call in sick, it's not doing it's job. Cheers.

This Game is Pretty awesome you can upgrade your character's armor, weapon and powers. I haven't played the first game of the series but this one is good. also there are two more species of creatures to be ( Vah Shir Berserker and Some kind of Shaman) all in all its a good game.
