I would give this game 5 stars but it is hard to get a full 5 star rating for any game unless it's absolutely 1000% perfect. This game is a lot more enjoyable than I had expected. The story in the game is very close to the movie. I am glad I bought the game. A definite game for any Harry Potter fans. I just wish I could master Quidditch!

Compared with the sometimes extremely difficult "Sorcerer's Stone" game that preceeeded it, Chamber of Secrets seems easier to play, especially since you have two lifetimes past a certain point in the game. In Sorcerer's Stone, challenges such as getting by Fitch and Ms. Norris in the library required about fifty tries before you got past them, whereas in Chambers it rarely took me more than five tries to get past each challenge. The graphics are superb, the music excellent, and the play is engaging. I gave up trying to get past Voldemort's final challenge in the previous game-no stategy seemed to work, so I may never find out what happens when you defeat the Dark Lord. They missed a bet skipping over the mandrakes and goblin cleansing from the book. This game is a must for fans of the
little wizard. If I may criticise at all, it is the fact that I
had real problems getting the game to start up on my P-4 and that
the graphics sometimes break down, confusing things somewhat.
Great Game...But....

It was a great game. The graphics were better than in the first game I believed, and there was more to explore and do. It was a lot more challenging and I really liked that. It would have been perfect, but it took a ton of time to load anything. On average, 1 to 2 minutes was the usual loading time, and that seemed to last longer than when you played the game. If they fixed that, it would have been the best game ever!

We bought this game as a present for my niece. It turned out to be a game that the whole family can enjoy -- lots of action and excitement with little or no violence. We like to take turns, with different people playing different sections of the game while the others look on and give advice, cheer, etc. It dovetails nicely with the book, yet provides some unique elements and experiences. The industry needs more games like this.

This game is a fantastic display of today's technology. All though not completely 3-D, it has stunning graphics, wondeful sound, and incredible animations. The creatures (Aragog, miscellaneous spiders, Basilisk, etc.) truly are scary--enough to make you scream when you aren't expecting one to attack you when you turn a corner! Trust me on this one; buy this game and you won't be dissapointed!

I found this game very entertaining. I reminded me of the nintendo game "Legend of Zelda" because you have different areas to go through and challenges to complete. It's not a difficult game so younger children would enjoy it without getting frustrated about not being able to get further into the game. I would highly recommend it to young (and old) kids.
Great game for kids 7 and up!!!

This game is great! First of all I think this game should be given to kids 7 and up, thay never use the term "Kill" (But the end does but thay don't have blood or any thing that is like "Kill") insted thay use the word "Stun" or even just fall over! There jokes are clean and thay talk clean, there is one thing that might not be so clean, it's when you use Flipendo on the trolit to make goods or bads come out, but that isn't to bad and the kids love it! There is no blood or any of the like.
There are a lot of improvments, one is that the mouths move, and a nother is that it is more 3D, and a nother is that once you complete the game you can exlore Hogworts!
The dueling is really fun, you can use 3 fantastic spells in dueling, "Rictisempra" wich will make the other dueler go back and will take away some of the other duelers Stalima (Stalima is Wizard or Wich energy), "Mimble Wimble" wich will make the other dueler talk nonsens so the other dueler can't cast his/her spell, and "Expelliarmes" wich will reflect back the other duelers spell at him/her, all three spells are used by the other dueler.
Quiditch has improved in some places and disoproved in others,
Improvments in Quiditch:
The other teem can catch the Snitch,
The Balls moves more rondomlly but will also do there goal (For example the Blugers will try and hit the players).
Dissoprovements in Quiditch,
You atomanicly kinda folow the Snitch, makeing it more of a hit the other player and doge the obstacles, also you can't move out of it so it's like your in a lttle invisible tunnle.
There is a new trading program were you can trade beans for other things like Wizard Cards, Potion Ingredients, and other things.
You keep the spells you lean in the first game and there are new spells in this one like Defendo and Rictisempra.
The Womping Willow si to help you understand the controls and when you come from the Womping Wilow to The Griffendor Commen room Ron teaches you some of the basics like were the Griffendor Commen room is and what your first year spells do.

I got this game after I played the Gamecube version and this one is alot better.
Pros-
.quidich better than the first game
.creative spells
.the bean bonus room(if you have the most house points you get to in a room to collect bertie botts beans which you can use as curency)
.you can redo challenges
.there is more challenges in the Chamber of Secrets. In the NGC one when you enter the chamber you fight the heir without going through some challenges
Cons-
.the Nimbus 2001 cant do anything
.there is a time limit in spell challenges and there realy is no point because I can get them done in a quick amount of time
.a little too easy
.No transfigeration class
.graphics could be a little better but it sure a whole lot better than the 1st game
WOW! You MUST, MUST, MUST, MUST, MUST, MUST buy this SIMPLY AMAZING game!

This is just SOOOOOOO GOOD a game! If you have not bought it all I can say is-PLEEEEEEEASE BUY IT. This game if full of all that one would want. It is a great experience, on which one cannot miss out!
STRATEGY- there are many mazes and puzzles throughout the game, which require an intelligent mind to solve them.
SUSPENSE- the whole concept of `what is lurking on the other side of the door?' is very much there in this game. Just as you enter a room, see it is empty, and proceed to the exit, you will be trapped and four nasty firecrabs appear all around you!
ACTION- always be ready to cast your spells, and sometimes if you are not quick enough, you lose. So, always, whichever door you walk through, keep your finger ready on the spell cast button.
ADVENTURE- you will learn new spells, and there will be new creatures to fight!
Now for the best part.
EXPLORATION- many new secrets all around Hogwarts, some so intelligently hidden, they are almost impossible to locate.
OTHER STUFF-
1. Collecting wizard cards in the first game were no use collecting. But, in this game, there is something good you earn by collecting the cards, and therefore you are really motivated to collect them, and search all the walls for secrets.
2. Buying beans helps you in getting more cards, by trading with other students.
3. With beans you can also buy potion ingredients, to make the healing potion- the Wiggenweld potion.
4. You can also duel with beans.
5. You are encouraged to win house points, for the weekly house-point ceremony, where, if you win, you visit the bean bonus room, where you can collect many beans.
6. Spell challenges can be revisited. This can help in earning house points.
7. There are many side quests, apart from just the spell challenges.
8. The whole environment is richly detailed, and a joy to be in!
9. You have a time limit for spell challenges.
10. You can go and play Quidditch whenever you want.
SO, IF YOU HAVE NOT YET BOUGHT THIS GAME, YOUR NEXT ACTION SHOULD BE TO CLICK ON- `ADD TO CART', IMMEDIATELY

This game is really fun and challenging. You can skip cutscenes now (that's a big improvement. Now I don't have to watch any more 10 minute cutscenes!), and it's always fun to play Quidditch (The best part is kicking the other seeker). I am stuck at Aragog because whenever he runs up to Harry, all you can see in the screen is Aragog and for some reason it freaks me out and I have to put the game on pause. Also, this game always freezes on my computer which is really annoying, because I will be at a really important part and the game will randomly freeze.
