OMG THIS GAME IS SOOOO MUCH FUN AND IT HELPED IN SCHOOL

Im a student and I desided to get this game because I like stagety games...anyways I uploaded it and it was great easy to instail fun to play. Im currentley studying mythology in my globel/english classes and I new all of the Gods because they are involved in this game, along with what they were know for and how they "helped" there worshipers

This is the best game ever made. It is a real-time strategy game, which means you have an arial view and you can click on a unit (soldier, villager, etc.) or building to make it move, create units, or research improvements. There's basically two types of units: mortal units such as spearmen and slingers. In human units, there's cavalry, archers, and infantry, each of which is a counter to each other. There's also myth units-basically monsters, creatures, etc. such as cyclopses, giant scarabs, ice giants, and behemoths.

There are 9 civilizations: Norse, Egyptain, and Greek, each with three major gods. There are also minor gods, who you chose. Each minor god has its own god power(meteor, lightning, etc.) and myth unit. Overall, hitch your behind out of that chair and get this game!!!

Absolutely fun game at any level.
Very good that they have the Mythology right as well !!!
It's a strategy game, but its enjoyable just as a game for games sake, and working against the Gods, and with them when it works that way, is radically fun. And you do not have to be a gamer to get a kick out of it.
Great Value at a sensible price. Awesome fun in so many ways.
You have to play it to know just how good it is, and the better you get, the higher your experience becomes.

Age of Mythology is probobly one of the best strategy games that i have ever played. Following along the lines of Age of Empires, you have to pick a civilization (greek god civilization mostly) and battle against your enemies civilization.

PROS:
1.Graphics
2.Great fun!
3.Music
4.Lots of civilizations to pick/choose from.
5.Addicting
6.Challenging
7. Controls are fairly easy to get used to.

CONS:
1.Age of mythology only works with a limited amount of graphics cards if you want the most enhanced experience in playing the game.
2.No online capabilities
3. If you suck at strategy games, you will find this game overly challenging when you are playing campaign mode.

This game comes with both the original "Age of Mythology" and its expansion "Age of mythology THE TITANS." They are both very fun and must be bought immedietely!

I know i did add a few cons to the game, but that is not enough to give this game a lower then 5/5 star review!

This game is amazing. It normally wouldn't have caught my eye, but my younger brother was addicted and wouldn't stop pestering me until I gave it a try. As it turns out, I liked it so much I had to buy my own copy. The controls are very fairly easy to get a hang of, which lets you concentrate more on your stategy, attack and defense.
The campaign option lets you play through an interconnected series of at least 30 mini-missions(don't know exactly off the top of my head)which leads you in turn through the Greek, Egyptian, Norse and Atlantean lands; each with unique Gods/Goddesses, heros, and mythological creatures. You also get a limited number of "God powers" (lightning, meteors, earthquakes,etc) granted to you, depending on which God you decide to focus on with each advancement.
The Titans expansion included with this game was a bit disapointing with that campaign being way too short (with only about 10 missions). I finished it in only 2 days.
*By the way- the previous reviewer said there was no online play for this game, which isn't true. I have played online, even the back of the box states there is online play(which is free).

Just great! Excellent! This post is not be rated, it's just my personal opinion and I know everyone who have played this game would think the same way. I just can't wait for Age of Empires III, I am sure it would be even better.

This is a great game and is made even better with the titans expanison. YOU NEED TO BUY THIS GAME IMMEDIATLY!!!!!! IT'S THE GREATEST GAME EVER(ASIDE FROM WORLD OF WARCRAFT)!!!!!!!!!!!BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed the game although I am not a kid and not as fast so have to play at the easy mode. But it is enjoyable and easy to learn.

This game is absolutely incredible! Not only is it fun but it is also something that you have to learn about it in high school which gave me a head start! The game is very, very true to mythology. It talks about Greek, Atlantean, Norse, and Egyptian mythology. It also has some very important and minor gods like Apollo, Poseidon, Zeus, Osiris, Isis, Hel, Anubis, Loki, and Thor(just to name a few). The thing that's so different about this game is that you get to make your own army with as many warriors and monsters(or myths) as you want. Addictive should be this games middle name! Long story short this game is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
