The Livin' Large Expansion is a game that adds more fun to the first, "The Sims." It adds a lot of new objects and choices. There are 5 neighborhoods now and they contain a few more houses already built! This Game is pretty good!

Good..but not great.

Like a lot of people, I excitedly bought the extension pack soon after it was available in stores. Already addicted to the game, I was eager to provide my sims with more challenges and expand the game. Although the extention pack did add more new elements to the game(over 125 new items to purchase, new characters such as a genie, new career paths, 4 additional neighborhoods, and new skins, I felt like they should have offered more considering the extention pack cost almost as much as the game itself. Is it worth it? Yes, but I still feel more could have been included to make the product better.

Ehhh... it's ok

Actually this is a great installment, but my favorite is House Party. What's great about Livin' Large is mostly the items. New items include a robot, love bed, and a lot more. Like all the other expansion packs this one more neighborhoods. I would suggest you just wait for Sims 2 to come out instead of buying more expansion packs.

Kinda fun, but not as fun as the original

This game is fun, but once you really dig in, you wish you didn't. The grim reaper scare ... me! The tragic clown is annoying, and some of the furniture is too much. Some of it is fun, like the crystal ball and robot, but the genie is incredibly irritating. Buy this game, though, because some of the furnture is nice. This is only a forewarning, not to stop you from buying this game.

Christian parents beware!!

I think it is very important to point out to anybody thinking of purchasing this add on for their child, that this game might not be suitable for a Christian family or children under 18. For example, the game includes a vibrating bed which enables your Sims to shed their clothes, roll around on the bed quite suggestively, and the next thing you know a Sims baby appears. Also, Christian parents might not care for the scary looking grim reaper, voodoo dolls, and crystal balls included in the game either. I am single and Catholic. If I had children interested in software games like this one, I would definitely appreciate being told about the content before I made the mistake of bringing it into my house. Hoped I helped someone here.

"Living Large" is pretty good

I would have to say first of all this game is probably worth your money. It adds so much to the game it will add hours of game play. Most of the new objects tend to hurt your sims more than they help, well, atleast the fun ones. If you haven't bought "The Sims" yet and are considering buying it and the expansion pack wait until they combine them in a "The Sims Gold" or something. It isn't worth seventy dollars to buy them induvidually. All in all if you like playing the sims, but are getting a little bored, then by all means buy this game.

Fun except....

The Sims Livin Large is fun except... Every time I start a new family everything's fine until they have a job. After they get a job and they look in the newspaper and see a better job, he/she is always too depressed to start it and quit the worser job! And they keep peeing on the floor even when I put in a toilet! They'll sleep on the floor even when they have a bed. And they are always yelling at you. But I do think it's fun to control the Sims. It's an Okay game, but it's not one that I play often.

Get a long with who ever lives with you.Have fun if your a man kiss a women and have a baby but take care of it. So the police dont take it away. Earn money and get a job. Always take care ofyour bills (check the mail box). You'll be hooked to the computer for hours.
