The frustrating part is at the end of the drill thing part after you kill all th reploids.

0k to tell you the truth i am a big megaman fan and this game i rented and it was the most insane game {{ insane means very good }) i loved it now that i own it ive been playing it every day its a very challenging game and i like how they made a huge change in the grapics .. cause 2D is meant for NES or SNES ... i styll love the oldschool megaman games all you did was run in a straight line or jump from panel to panel .. they were good games and they were challenging 2 but now that they moved it up 2 PLAYSTATION 2 they had a good idea making it 3D cause now you can move around and feel free ... i also liked how they added a new character AXLE .. he is the best i love him hes my favorite character ... ok then .. .umm also i would like to add that i did not like that fact that capcom is running out of names for the bosses ... ONIONMAN?? i meen cmon who wants to fight an onion its just corni theres so many other things like ROBOMAN ... UMM FLOWERMAN ... LIONMAN... TIGERMAN ... JUNGLEMAN ... ALL GOOD IDEAS but capcom could onli think of onion man i meen cmon whats next ... carrotman , squashman, brocclii man

okey, let me make it clear that i have never played X7, but have read about it. i don't know much of the plot, but i read that there is a new style of play or somthing and theres a new character as well to play as named Axl. They said (in Electronic Gaming Monthly) that this game isn't that great, but i'm still gonna try it out any way, but I just hope its better then Megaman X6 (thank goodness I bought Megaman Battle Network(another great game) over X6 3 years ago(i think)and glad i didn't regret it). I also i hope they start thinking of better types of bosses (an onion named Tornado Tonion....?). I'm not saying this game is bad, but I hope its good. hope this helps, though I doubt it.

You people Who dont like this game have problems..Theis Game is awesome So what if you have to unlock X its Really easy Axl is awesome when you get his weapons you get to use double hand guns Zero's hair & Saber are Cool too Graphics Are awesome..I dont care what you people say this game is AWESOME!!!

A True Evolution of a Great Series

After reading all the other reviews, I had to add my own.

I've been playing Mega Man games since I was 3 years old (literally, since the series started). Every time a new game came out, I was always excited about playing it. When the X series came out, I wasn't sure about the change from the traditional Megaman storyline. But, despite my initial misgivings, the game was awesome. I experienced a similar misgiving with Megaman Zero. But, the game exceeded my initial expectations.

Now, to X7. I had two major complaints at first. The first one is that the 3D camera system can, at times, get in the way of the view. The second is that, in a game called Megaman X7, you have to unlock Megaman X. Before too long, however, I was able to cope with both of these gripes. The camera issue could be compensated for by being a more bit cautious while fighting, or by having a quicker response time to the bullets (especially the Mets, which had a tendency to hide behind other enemies and take potshots at you). As for the issue of having to unlock Megaman X, when I started using him I understood why. The X Buster is insanely powerful, with even the uncharged plasma shots dealing more damage then Axl with two power chips.

Another complaint that I've heard is Tornado Tonion. A gag boss is as common in Megaman games as anything else. Let's face it, in X1 Chill Penguin wasn't that threatening. The same with Clown Man from Megman 8. He's designed as comic relief. The absurdity of it is part of the entertainment.

Then, there's the rather loud complaint about the voices. Give me a break, guys! At least X doesn't sound like a girl, and Zero isn't constantly out of breath. I'd like to take a little bit at a time. The fact that the cut scenes are all spoken, whether they're static or animated, is also an improvement.

The complaints over this X game, like X5 and X6, will continue, and loudly. Although I haven't yet gotten the chance to play either, I will soon. However, X games keep coming out, so most people must still be pleased with the series? And, when Megaman X8 comes out, you can bet that I'll go buy it, too.

3D Megaman game WOW

Ok I've never played this game before but it looks really cool. A few day ago I went on capcom.com to look at some sceen shots of X7 and those gaphics look sick. The graphics are really good but they dont show anysceen shots of Axl the new hero. I hear its a 2 player game but Im not really sher, if it is this would be a really fun X game im probably gonna get it soon and I hope its fun. It most likely will be all the other X games were good. The X series is my favorite but not because of Zero.

Red Alert vs Maverick Hunters

This is by far one of and if the not the greatest MMX game!

Controls: 10/10
I have no problems with the control scheme and I can't see how anyone else can claim they have problems with it.

View: 9/10
There is a very tiny area in two stages but it is a big enough of a problem to cause any unfair deaths.

Graphics 10/10
The graphics inthis game are amazing! Zero's saber and his hair are nicely done, the backgrounds are top noch, X's fully chaged blast looks really nice and the explosions are beautiful.

Music 10/10

The music is incredible especially the boss fight music it sounds just like music a move fight would have. The muscic tunes match the mood of each scene nicely and is very nice to listen too.

Voices 9/10
Capcom has finally picked some great voice actors outside of the legends series! Lenne Hardt does a good job as Axl with her child like voice, Jack Merluzzi plays an Excellent Zero with his gruff voice, Rumiko Varries dose a decent job as Alia with her warm, compassionate voice, Signas has a decent, calm and collected General voice, Barry Gjerde does an amazing job as Red with his arrogant, calm, and stylish voice, the only one who can match him in voice preformance is Walter Roberts (the voice of Sigma!) Walter Roberts does a irreplacable job as the voice of the decietfull, evil and dark character of Sigma!
The only voice that I hated was the Voice of X. The good news was he dosen't sound like a girl that is high on helium but the bad news is X's "actor" Peter Von Gomm, can't act at all! He sounds like he has an apple caught in his throat and put sandpaper on his toung for good measure!

Story: 9/10
The storyline is that X has retired from the hunters and reploid crime and maverick activity has ruled ever since. But a new group of rough vigilantes known as Red Alert have surfaced and began to tearthrough maverick activity with a brutal fist. Soon Red Alert has become known world wide. While Red Alert's vigilante activitys are illigal, the athourty of the group is generaly reconized as offical law since the maverick hunters are in such bad shape from X's retirement. One day a young reploid boy named Axl decide to leave the group. After being found by Zero and taken to the Hunter Base, Red demands that Axl be turned over to him! When the hunters refuse, Red challenges them to a duel. The winner keeps Axl and their method of Justice stays!

The only problems with this game are that you have to unlock X be rescuing 64 reploids (simple task)and Alia's speeches after a mission get annoying. Other than that Sit back and Enjoy!

This is coming from a true Mega Man X fan, I love this game! I got it the day it came out and I had no regrets, even though you have to unlock the main character, the game is so fun! I stayed up all night playing! Its so adicting!
