This is a gread add-on for the original Roller coaster. You get more flexibility and ride choices. After beating most of the original scenarios, I liked having 25 new ones. I suggest that everyone buys it. I hope they will come out with a program called Footpaths of Roller Coaster Tycoon. You are a guest, and you ride rides and buy food.

12-Step program needed for this game! Very Addictive!

RCT in general is awesome, but this expansion pack really goes a long way to furthering the fun of the original game. Just when you thought it couldn't be any better, they come up with this! The reasons why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 are simply because once you've installed the expansion pack, it won't play unless you have that cd in, the original RCT cd won't work any more. I also wish that they would include more "Thrill Rides". Other than that, it's awesome! My husband and I have to time each other so we can get on the computer and play this game! I think we've become official RCT junkies! I also love the design competitions. That really goes a LONG way towards making this a truly interactive game. So, for those others of you out there who also have "God Complexes", you have got to go and get this game and expansion pack! I'm definitely addicted and in need of a good 12 - Step program!

This is a expansion pack that you must get. It doubles the fun of the game. It adds lots of new cool rides and themes. I all like the new park designs. There is one where you build your park on a bridge across all water. I like how you can change the cool of the queing lines. You should really get it if you like the first game. I also like how you can now name your employs and you can poster signs the have scrolling messages. You get to pick the message on the sign to whatever you want.

Roller Coaster Tycoon Corkscrew Follies is an amazing sequel to the already popular Roller Coaster Tycoon original. The sequel is almost exactly the same as the original except for much more features including dinosaur, and other new theming. New rides including Roto-Drop, Virginia Reel, Steel Twister, Flying Coaster, Suspended Monorail, and more. Also, some rides even have new features like a loop on the wooden coaster and many new scenarios to make this game the best simulation game on earth!

This game is awesome!The first time i played it i was totally addicted!Icouldn't stop playing it ,it's my favorite computer game i ever played.The rides you can make are unbelieveable!You can make, roller coasters,water slides,go karts,graviton,bumper cars,and I can not name the rest of the rides there's so much of them.The best part is trying to beat your obbgective, some are easy and some are hard and even funner!The coolest part is building a huge park with tons of great rides and the custermers and the money kipes on rollin into your park.The only bad part is kiping your park clean,safe,under controle, and kiping it really fun.If you like simulating games you will love this one.

This item is great! It has a whole lot of extra colors and fountains and coasters appared to the regular rollercoaster tycoon.

Hasbro really hit the bull's eye with the Roller Coaster Tycoon. I didn't think they could top Roller Coaster Tycoon but with RCT: Corkscrew Follies they did one better then the origonal. All I can say is if you dont have Roller Coaster Tycoon or the expansion pack YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING!!! If your a Roller Coaster fanatic or not it dosent matter you will love this game! Plus the third expansion pack will come out on Sept. 20, 2000 and to be able to play it you will need RCT and RCT:CF so save your pennies and buy these GREAT games!!!

This game has it all, plus the original things of the first part of the series, (roller coaster tycoon). It has many more scenarios, that means more places to put the sweetest new rides. It also has a ton of updates, restaurants, rides, roller coasters. From gentle rides, to fast, jerky, and thrilling roller coasters. Its so addicting you'll be wanting to throw it away. But if you love computer games this is a game for you no matter what kind of games you like. Once you start playing, the game grabs you and doesn't let go. You can buy more land in your parks, build your own custom designs of roller coasters, and build the best theme parks you can. Its a great game, BUY IT!

How to ruin an already great game

Rollercoaster Tycoon was a good game except for the fact that they kept requiring the gamer to meet a stupid goal, instead of just designing a park to what they saw would fit the landscape. It could be enviromentally safe or not. Also they needed to allow design and testing and installing of new rides during the winter closing (Oct-Mar). Now with the Corkscrew Follies expansion pack they have gotten even worse by devalueing the park each month so you always have to keep building up the park to keep from letting they value of the park diminish. Haven't the designers of this game expansion heard of land value, or inflation, or even increased value of used rides, that can actually be sold for more than you originally paid for them. But formost on the list on how not to ruin what should be a fun game is forget the idea that there has to be some goal to shoot for and let the gamer JUST HAVE FUN! .

All in all the expansion pack is excellent. There is not a thing wrong with it in my opinion. Wonderful new rides and scenarios! But then I bought Loopy Landscapes and learned I had wasted my 20 bucks on Corkscrew Follies; Corkscrew Follies is included in Loopy Landscapes! I'm sure I'm not the only person fustrated that they spent 20 dollars more than those who didn't even bother to add onto their game! So if you really want Corkscrew Follies, learn from my mistake and just get Loopy Landscapes, and get two expansions for the price of one.
