this game rocks, it is the best game ever the graphics are perfect.
The characters are great, the cover and the intros song are the best. Buy this game it is supper!

Don't get too excited.

This game is not what I expected: here are my results:

Graphics-1
The backgrounds were horrible, the characters were small, and sometimes the screen gets fuzzy(not the tv's problem).

Sounds(Backgroud music)-1
The voices do not macth the charcters and the music was HORRIBLE!

Gameplay-1
The characters were slow and puny. the fireballs that came out of their hands were their specials. the code they give you to unlock the characters DOES NOT WORK!

Overall- I am very disappointed with this game. Worst DBZ game EVER. DO NOT BUY!!! Wait for DBZ Budokai 2 coming in December 2003.

If your a big DBZ fan like me youl love the game.However I woudent buy it unless I really loved DBZ.

Ok, if you played DBZ Budokai you might not like this one not that much. I own this game and the graphics were ok, considering when this was made. The characters are a little fuzzy and the music is so so. It's also hard to get the additional characters by entering the code. I would give it a 3 but DBZ budokai is much better even though it doesn't have Majin Buu and other characters.

This game I thought would be a lot better than It was. First of all the game wouldn't even let me put in the code for an additional 5 characters that I was hoping for. The Graphics are okay but could use a lot of work, and the attacks are really hard to master. I would suggest renting this game before you want to buy it. The intros and the cover are about the coolest thing there is.

I hate to break suit when it comes to this game, but it really is very terrible. I mean, there have been a few good Dragon Ball Z games released (Legacy of Goku II, Boudaki), but Ultimate Battle 22 just isn't one of them.

First of all, characters react far too slowly. They jump about two inches off the ground. Their energy attacks look nothing like they should and are impossible to do.

About the only good thing in this game, as far as I can reckon, is the cover art, the opening movie, the music and the fact that you can play Kid Goku and SSJ3 Goku... which doesn't really matter, because by the time the battle begins, I've already fallen asleep.

Lousy game. There were far better Japanese DBZ games which could have been ported to the states.

This isn't the best I've seen!

I am the biggest DBZ fan ever (except for my brother)! I have a PS2! So I had to check this game out! It's a PSOne game. It was made in Japan in 1999 or so. They now made an English version. Unfortunately, it ain't as good as I thought it would be! But, it's still pretty good though! The graphics are pretty cheesy, but graphics aren't everything! in these kinds of games, the fighting is the main part! But, then again, the fighting isn't too amazing either! There is also no storyline, AH! A game isn't as good if it doesn't have a storyline! But you can use alot of characters! It's worth $$$ I guess but personally I think they should lower the price a little bit. If you are a DBZ fan with a PSOne or PS2, or you just wanna' play a good game you should check it out. But Budokai for the PS2 is alot better! I would reccomend renting it before buying it to see if you like it. But, if you are a DBZ fan who only has PSOne, yu should buy this video game! All in all this game comes out to being pretty good!

the game is a must for fans but if your looking for some fast action dragonball game your going to be let down.I still love the game but its not as quick as tekken and others.

wats so good about it. its not even 3D like final bout is and they got ssj on final bout. every time you fight u can become more of a ssj than not addbance in power.
