This game is awsome!!! Even though it's extremely easy. The graphics are great for a 2D fighting game. Again like I said it's easy! I beat it in under a half an hour. There are 5 characters to unlock (including Chibi Goku) but you don't unlock them by beating the battle mode. They give you the code for the 5 characters in the instruction booklet. Personally I think its way better than Budokai!

This game is AWSOME!!!!!
I beat it in an hour flat but I'll still play it. The special moves take too many buttons and are really hard to use! There is a code in the booklet but it doesn't seem to work. (At least on PS2.) The code is for unlocking 5 additional characters.
Aside from all that there are some cooler aspects of the game! There are 22 characters (not including the additional characters) and their moves compliment their style. There are always new outcomes of battles. You can battle against the computer or a friend. Most of the major characters from the Frieza(sp?), Android, and Buu Sagas are included. It is good for DBZ Fans or plain-old martial arts lovers!!!!!!!
The game rocks!! You'll want to play it over and over.

This game is a awsome game. I read the other peoples reviews and there just lies.Even though the game has messed up graphics its still a good game. There was one person that said he could'nt punch inthe code.A little advice, the code is up triangle down x left L1 right R1.And you have to do it fast OK.Anyway, The game has bad graphics because its old. I used to live in japan and i had this game. I got a nother copy last month. So i don't think its a bad game at all.i think its a little bit better than budokai because it has more and better caracters. Bye.
cool game!

This game has got it all, it has cool characters like Goku, Gotenks, Vegeta, and Frezza. Cool attack moves like Goku's Super Kamehameha and the rest of the cool a** moves. And it the best Dragonball Z game that i had ever played.

THis is a rather fun game. I've been playing games since i was about 2 years old. This is one of my favorites. This game is both fun and challenging, fullfilling the needs that a true gamer and Dragon Ball Z fan needs. With Hyper powered attacks a AWSOME cobos. This game is a truely great game.

The first time I playd this game I did very poorly but once I played it a few times this became one of my favorite games. Basicly it is a straight out brawling game, you punch, kick do combos, and unleash super charged energy attacks. The energy attacks are murder to pull off (hence the four star rating) but can be very devastating to your opponent if you can use them. It took me a while to learn how to block and recharge my energy but once I did the game became very easy to play. You should spend alot of time in the build up mode so you can beat the other modes or else you won't stand a ghost of a chance. There is a cheat where you can get five extra characters: vegetto, hercule, goku ss3, kid goku and master roshi. This a fun game but hard to master the energy attacks and I would highly reccomend this game to any dbz fan.
What A Great Game!

This game is cool. It has great sounds but the background doesnt go with the people. But i still say that its a good game but it gets very boring without a second player. If you dont have a PS2 and you like DBZ games you should get this game. :)

I don't even know why I got this game in the first place. I mean, come on, Funamation knew this was a horrible attempt at a fighter video game. There's a good selection of characters, but the game is easy to win (simply stand far away and blast away with special energy attacks). Also, music and sounds are horrible. There was literally no voice translations, only title translations. For DBZ fans out there, go buy a PS2 and get Budokai 3. You'll be spending about $180 more than if you've bought UB22, but you'll surely be happy.
