Well one this is boring. The only good part is killing sombody good in medusas cave. And two the battles stink. if your looking for a final fantasy game, I suggest you skip it, unless you want torture.

This game has excellent graphics and sound. It hat a different way of fighting but extremely fun.
The only bad part is some of the puzzles are a little to hard find out without a hint.
Simple graphics and yet lots of fun.

I have really enjoyed playing a series beginnings and this game is no exception. I first thought years ago that this was a Final Fantasy game but instead it is a Mana game like Secret of Mana. I remember playing this game and really liking it. It has a story and the graphics are not so sparse that you do not have to pretend the blue is water and the green is land, but rather when you go onto land, there is texture like trees drawn and a cave opening. If you need color graphics then this and other games of this age will not be your cup of tea. I on the other hand had a great time playing it.

This is one of the best games ever. What is good about this game: pacing, story, final fantasy references, gameplay, fun, and the absolute best thing about this game is that it not its' horrible remake titled Sword of Mana.
One of the greatest seminal games

Often overlooked as one of the red-headed stepchildren of the Final Fantasy series, FFA plays more like the early Zelda games than the incarnations of Final Fantasy that we are used to. That aside, the game is amazing, with an amazingly deep plot for the time period and plenty of options to customize your weapons and armor, four character traits that you can level up, and eight spells you pick up automatically through the game. While it can't compete with the depth or graphics of its successors, FFA is definitely an oft-overlooked classic from the original Game Boy era.

This game is fun at first, and the instruction booklet gets you to a certin point. Then they leave you to your own devices, it loses the fun. I still can't find out how to get past it.
