Fun, but runs horribly on my computer

I played the demo and knew I had to have this game. It's fun to just be a everyday pedestrian one minute and climbing into a window to do a hit the next. I was very disappointed on how the game ran on my system! I have many first person games and this is the only one that causes me grief. I have a Dell 450 mhz, 128 megs of RAM and a 16 mb Nvidia TNT card. I realize this isn't the best system right now, but I would think that I'd at least be able to run the game at 800x600. When the gameplay continued to be extremely jumpy (even with the patch) I tried (gasp) 640x320 graphics. Still, it was very jumpy and unplayable. So the game went into my drawer. Maybe I'll dust it off when I get a new computer next year.

You either LOVE it or you HATE it so i recommend downloading both demos before you buy or you could set yourself up for a big disapointment.

you really need to buy this game because Hitman is the best game there is. i like it so much because of the sneaky style the game is based on. and i like the Hitman suit also very professional. Tradtions of the trade is my favourite level. you neet to kill a crazy professor who wants to blow up a hotel. you need to get the bomb out of the hotel and kill the professor sounds easy? well if you arent experienced (like me) it isn`t. because there are metal detectors. so you need to use the fibre wire (doesn`t trigger metal detectors). but you can find a lot of weapons in the hotel too so it isn`t necessary.and you will get more money from the agency the only thing i don`t like about this game is the ending this was my review PEACE

when I heard about Hitman I got really excited!I mean common,who doesn't want to be a man who gets payed to kill people in a game!!If you like titles like 'Soilder of Fortune' and 'Half Life'you will fall in love with this one.Dont pass this one up!!!

If you've every had problems with that pesky 30-day waiting period for handguns or a had a coworker who really deserves to be drug out into the street and shot, then hitman is the game for you. Loaded with tons of violence and situations that require you to be lethally percise it's one gmae that never runs out of new and interesting "situations" that need to be explored. So stop whinning about how games cause violence and go kill some people to relieve that pent up ambition to erase someone. BUY Hitman

I thought this game was a pretty neat game. When i installed it, i noticed that you gotta have a pretty top of the line computer (lucky for me). Something i didn't like about the game is that you can't save the game. The missions are just too long and complicated to not be able to save in the middle of the game. (unless of course, you have a walkthrough,..but still its frusterating)

But other than that, this was an exellent game, with outstanding graphics and a wide range of weapons like the fibre wire and the knifes, not to mention a tasty mini gun. And another thing i liked about this game is that when you kill somebody, you can take there cloths, there guns, anything they got on them.(which is very neccesarry to beat the misions,some people you can't take there cloths, but if you can't take there cloths, you probably weren't ment to).i had a fun time with this game.. Two thumps up!

No doubt one of the best games I've played in years, the graphics are sweet, the levels are nice and hard that makes you think a whole lot more than the average game, tons of fun and wouldn't trade my game for anyother game

Undoubtedly, Hitman: Codename 47 is one of the most enthralling, captivating, and simply fun game ever!! Its thin plot, mediocre graphics, repetitive sound tracks, and pixelated textures only enhance the uniquity of this game. From strangling adversaries to assassinating figures important enough to cause a war, Hitman: Codename 47 has it all. Not only this, but the game is extremely realistic- the AI of your foes is amazing. They can spot their dead fellows, and none of them (including you) have super strength. One shot is enough to bring them (or you) down. So, next time you see Hitman: Codename 47- purchase it!!!

I own and have played or beaten every hitman game released for the PS2, now finally I have gotten the original hitman, it's an excellent game, graphics and gameplay are pretty good considering it was made a good few years ago.
