This game is great. There are practically no flaws. You desine a character (male or female) and play to reach the top. you work your way to the senior level of the school (classes are based on skill not age). Then play doubles with your partner to get to the senior class. then just kick but at the tournaments. What's also cool is if you still have an N64 you can load your character and play. Or find and friend link up and paly doubles or against each other. you can also hit ever way, slice, top spin, smash, drop, lob. Oh and when u get expirence give evenly to each person it may seem weird but in doubles if your partner stinks your doomed! oh and try to use drop shots to bring them to the net the lob over thier head (doesn't work on harder opponents).
Best Gamebay Game EVER!!!

I have owned this game for a long time and it never gets boring. I first got it when I had a Gameboy Color. Now I have a Gameboy Advance SP and I still play it more than any other games I have for the Gameboy Advance (such as Mario Kart or Pokemon Emerald). If you are thinking about getting this game I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend getting the N64 version and a Transfer Pak. Although the game is awesame, it doesn't do too well graphically speaking and seeing the character you made in 3D and playing with it against your friends makes Mario Tennis the best Multiplayer game ever. I have been playing this game for over 5 years and it's still my favorite game. Based on reviews I've read on "Mario Tennis Advance" I would not recommend getting that game. I have not played it, but everyone who gave it a good review had only played it a few times and mentioned how easy it was. The cons mentioned how it paused every time someone used a power shot. In my opinion, it's the same as the Gameboy Color version except with slightly better graphics and "special" powers that take away from the game. If you're looking for a game you can enjoy for months, I'd highly recommend this game.

Genre: Sports/RPG
Pros: This is a great Sports game. You go around a court smacking a ball, while listening to OK music from your GBC. But that's not all you must do. You also have to use the RPG system of deciding what areas of skil you build up your level. But don't worry if your not familiar with this, the game is very introductory at the beginning. Then...SLAM, you're playing the elite teams of tennis from all over the world and you have to use every trick up your sleeve to beat them!
Cons: None.
Simply A Great Game

This game is great! The play controls are great, the sound is great, even if you're not playing a tennis match it's great! That's because outside of a tennis match you can get a snack from the snack bar, upgrade your equipment with points you got from winning matchs. You can even download players you created on Mario Tennis Game Boy Color to your Nintendo Mario Tennis with a transfer pack. I am not sure where you can get one single but I've only seen them with Pokemon Stadium. Anyways, let me say one word.

This is a great game. It an RPG mode, where you help an aspiring tennis player and his doubles partner rise to stardom at the Royal Tennis Academy. It also has an Exhibition mode where you can select the options and play a matchup between anyone you have beaten in RPG mode. The last(and my favorite) mode is Mario Mini-Games. Here you can play mini-games starring your favorite mario stars. To get them all though, you have to link up with th eN64 version of Mario Tennis.
