I don't think that this game can even be summarized in any words. I basically just rated this game so that I could bring a balance back to society. This game should have no more than two stars. My point is proven in what Anthoni said. No one contact me about this review, because I would hope that only small children would be reading this.

Great game, one of my favorites

Hamtaro - a Spiffie game at a Dundeal price!

I bought this game because it was too kawai to put down. Oddly enough, the creator's name is Kawai, which means cute in Japanese. IT IS SO CUTE! The game itself is much more than adorable, and the setup is well-done. The price of 19.99 is very Hamchu (kind) to the wallet.

You start out in the clubhouse and Boss tells you to bring all of the Ham-Hams back so he can share his secret. I thought his secret would be something like he's actually a girl hamster and behind that door was his other wardrobe (it's based off an anime, what do you expect?). No-p, it's a hamchu surprise, so play and find out! Well, he gives you 4 ham-chat words to start with, Hamha (hi), Hif-hif (smell), Tack-q (tackle), and Dig-dig (dig ^.^). You then go around to the places on the map where you have a sunflower (you can go there) and meet new hamsters. There's always things to do, so explore everywhere and ham-chat as much as you can!

What I liked: There's more than a story. There's also Ham-Jam, which lets you dance to music using Ham-Chat words. It's bestest! I look spiffie dancing. Don't chuk-chuk! It's good exercise and it's fun too! You can also go shopping and buy clothes for Hamtaro and then play dress up (I never did that as a kid, I think it's about time now!). Then you take a picture and it goes in your room and you see it each time you start the game. I have a wondachu Japanese outfit now. One more thing, you don't have to memorize the words since they are recorded for you in a Ham-Chat notebook which you can get to by pushing the start key. But you start using them in everyday conversation, and it scares people (I tell people bye-q all the time!). One more thing, the animation is bestest. Hamtaro's facial expressions are very funny (try dig-dig in a random spot), and the moves that they do to show the ham-chat words are good too! One more thing, the music is so catchy! I wish they made a soundtrack!

What don't I like? It's difficult! I just beat it last night because I couldn't get Cappy or Jingle back. But I figured it out because I would not chuk-chuk (give up). If you get stuck, please do not use cheat books since they take the fun out of the game. Even though I was stuck for a while, the game was still fun since there was so much to do and I could always find new words or new conversations to have. You can't think logically about this game! Remember that it's rated E for "comic mischief". That's how I figured out the hard parts. I think Cappy is the hardest to get back. Here's a hint, you don't get to him by going in the front of the . That hamster doesn't want to get up, and you won't convince her. Tack-q bowling is the bestest sub-game (maybe it's the only one). Oh yeah, I also don't like how people look at you funny if you say you are playing the Hamtaro game, but it really is for everyone, not just elementary school kids (I'm in college!)!

One last thing, I read about all of the ideas for making ham-chat teach you other languages, and I agree with that, but I think it has a better use as an antidepresant. It makes you happy! So go play and learn your ham-chat! Bye-q and goodgo!

I dont get how a little fur ball running around with his friends could be fun. It has no point.I think that it would be a waste of money to buy.

This is a really great game. You go around looking for all of the hamsters and you need to get them back to the clubhouse. You meet up with other hamsters and learn new words. (Sometimes you need to learn words is order to get the hamsters back.)
You'll love this if your not into games with levels.
