Picture yourself a counter terrorist alone your complaions dead you seee the bomb your miison is with your grasp BANG!!! your dead terriorst was hiding behind that box. This is the life of fellow gamer with the game half-life counter strike. Me myself play this game it never has a dull moment if your sniping down a hallway or planting a bomb under the fire of the counter terrorists it is an action packed game that will keep you coming back for more personaly i think it should be worth more money but they are nice so if you see this game on the shelves at a computer shop near you grab it and start the trip to no stop action.

Watching the opening movie to Gunman Chronicles makes it out to seem very impressive. Unfortunately, I found the game to be somewhat too easy. I have been gaming for some time now and even on the hard setting I felt unchallenged. Of the four levels you encounter the first and third were too short and predictable. I also felt I was playing Half Life only with new characters and a slightly different plot. If however you are new to gaming, I recommend this game. You will find yourself well challenged and spending many hours investagating four worlds all with their own characteristics.

Gunman chronicles is a great game, no lie. It weapons and models are great even though they are built on the Half-life engine...Just like halflife GC is a great single player game. It is a wee bit easier than halflife because many of the enemy troops lack artificial inteligence but you will get clobbered by things that you could never see coming. So buy this game, it truely is great.

I finished this game within a day. Only three major locations. Difficult moves needed. Only three major locations that I can remember. A waste of my good money!

I wasn't too impressed with this game at all. You get a bunch of differ weapons to use but, you have to shoot the people over and over again. The bullets don't even affect who ever you are shooting. So when you shoot someone and keep shooting them they just keep walking towards you like nothing is happening. It also takes for ever to kill them. So very unrealistic and pathetic. The game is suppose to be using Half Life's engine but to me the graphics don't look as good. It took me a day to conquer this game so that is pretty also.

This is obviously a mod for Half-Life. But it's a really good one, and i have no problem paying for it. The wierd, flexible weapons they add are really nice. Level design, though linear, is nice. The dinosaur models turned out really nice, although they only appear at the very begining - wish they had been in there more. Driving the tank was pretty cool too. And i even liked the plot.

Still, it hit some of my pet peeves. i despise annoyance monsters, the ones with only one hit point that serve only to waste ammo. i don't mind that the game was pretty short (not Hitman short, but still pretty short).

I can sum this up quite simply: If you loved HalfLife, you'll really enjoy Gunman. It's story is not entirely original, the graphics are dated by the HalfLife engine upon which the game is built but all the fun and action of the game you've come to love is there. Buy this game to extend your HalfLife high, not to be blown away by the next generation of First Person Shooters.

If you liked half life then this game is worth playing.Its pretty much a remake of the half life engine.the story is good along with the old wild west type environments and themes.the enemies,xenomes,desperados are original and that makes gunman a hyper powered half life.the best level is the last cause you fight in outer space on the surface of an alien wild west planet.my only con is the lack of guns although the rocket launcher is pretty cool.overall this game is worth buying......that is if you are a half life fan!!!

Gunman is sadly one of those great games that never makes it big. The story line takes you to unexpected ends of the universe, once you depart from one planet, you never know where you might end up. The games difficulty is just so that you would rather keep playing after failling a mission rather then giving up for awhile. After playing for awhile and looking back at all youve shot your way threw and came across, you notice just how large and intense the game really is. The graphics arnt that off date and the game is really fun, a great buy for such a low price.
