DELTA FORCE 2: "THE FINAL FRONTIER"

The Delta Force was the United States best kept secret, now they have made it into a game so that young soldiers may experience the reality of war. In this game, you will encounter terrorists around the glob in many different terrains. During your online games, you will meet new and nice people. You may even join a squad. If you get bored of the single missions, download the Expansion Pack and play new missions or you will unlock new levels. Making levels of your own will be fun. Note: The map making software (Mission Editor) comes with the CD.

Get it through your head THIS GAME stinks First of all the graphics suck,boring gameplay(I usually like realistic military games), coudn't acess campaign, takes forever to install.I would give this game 0 stars. I just bought it about 1 hour ago played it for 15 min. and then got bored... Try the Unreal series , half life or rainbow 6

I love this game. The landscape plants and grass that you can hide in are perfect for sniping. Buildings, tanks, trucks, and boats can actually be blown to bits. I set off satchels on a boat once expecting a burn mark on the wall, but it actually sank and tilted to conform to the lake bottom. Unfortunately, the game does not support Voodoo cards and requires a Riva card for hardware acceleration. Unless you have a very new Riva card, over 100 MB of RAM, and a 600 MGhz processor you will be experiencing DF2 with a low frame rate, therefore very choppy movement. Also, anytime you try to switch the screen resolution in the game, the game crashes. The auto-patch updater is a bit tricky as it downloads a patch for itself at least 20 times before it starts updating the game.

I got the first Delta Force- shortly after Novalogic released it. The Delta Force series set the stage for realistic real-time combat games. This game's graphics are sharp- and is especially good with the 32MB NVIDIA Graphics Accelerator that I have on my system. If you've every wanted to get your shoes in a military spec-ops seat. This is probably your closest chance to meeting that reality. Well worth the money!

When I bought Delta Force, I was immediately impressed. It's been a year now, and I'm still playing Delta Force. When I heard about Delta Force 2 I was like..I gotta get that game. When I actually got it though, it was like a nightmare come true. Delta Force 2 is the slowest game I've ever played. Here are the problems I've encountered within the first hour of "playing" Delta Force 2: -Computer Froze (5/6) -Game Froze (11/12) -Multiplayer is extremely slow -Lag is horrible -Single player enemies are mad stupid -The ghillie suit looks like underwear over clothes Honestly, Novalogic should have put alot more thought into this game. Alot of Delta Force people are saying DF2 shoulda been an addon for DF, and with that...I totally agree. DF2 has a dart gun...hmm I wonder how many people I can kill with a dart gun. Depending on your computer....Delta Force 2 can run very well, but like mine and the majority of us, it sucks. It literaly takes 2 minutes to join a multiplayer game, and after that, you hafta put up with 3 or 4 somtimes 5 second lag. Overall, DF2 is the worst game I've ever played. DO NOT get this game if you have anything to or less the the following: 56k Modem P2 333 64 RAM 40x Cd rom drive 10.4 Gigs This game hogs up tons of RAM. It's not worth it people.

Delta Force is a awsome game in 3D outdoor effects. It snows, rains, and even has fog. It will keep you entertained for hours and hours. Its a must buy game if you like full action army based games. The internet play is the best of all duling with people around the world. On the other side it could use a little more choice of weapons and carry ons. Hopefully Delta Force 3 will allow you to drive vehicles and talk out loud instead of yelling set comands. I do rate this game a 5+ in my mind so dont think twice just buy it.

It seems that most of the people who played this game liked it. And I must say that when I got it, I was expecting a better experience than I got, something along the lines of Rainbow Six with more running and shooting. However, as opposed to most of the reviews I saw, Delta Force was a huge dissapointment. With horrible graphics (Maybe it's my computer, but they didn't even have a strafing animation or realistic grass) and stupid extras as weapons (see the pathetic explosion from a strike) the game was a massive waste of money. I'm beginning to think that everone likes it because it's so cheap.

ROCKS!ROCKS!ROCKS!One of the best ways to spend your money. By far it must be one of the best shooters ever, it has the best multiplayer action, there is a MissionEditor, and the best thing of all is all the levels there are. This is one to get now!

I picked up this game and I am not particularly impressed. The only real improvements to the game are the additions of rain/snow, bogs, and more fiery explosions than the first DF. Still, it remains unexciting.

There is no end mission body count and aftermath reading like there was in the first DF; you just get put back on the map when you beat a mission. Furthermore, if you win the campaign, you simply win the campaign. There aren't even any messages letting you know you beat it. Also, there is a horrible shortage of missions. When I found out about the new underwater assault rifle and pistol in this game, I was excited and prepared myself for some Navy SEAL-type missions. However, there are no missions that require the use of these weapons, and likewise there are also no missions that require the use of the underwater rebreather. Just as well, there are no missions that require the use of the video camera (I don't know why they added this one, it's no substitute for extra ammo or a Kevlar vest).

There are some good features added, such as the ability to blow up tents and watch the smoke billow from them, but this didn't really save the game. It needs more missions and it shouldn't add unnecessary gear to really be worthy of more stars.

DF2 (Unrealistic, corny, and just plain dumb.)

Okay. Some people (Like 10 and 12 year olds) think this game is sooo cool. This game so very unrealitic. Infact, everything about this game is stupid. The weapons are okay, but when you fire, there is no recoil that makes you reticule (The cross thingy that helps you aim) go up and down. Also, 1 shot from any gun kills an enemy (Which is pathetic) so why put your M4A1 rifle on burst? Just use single shot to conserve ammo. The games graffics are as [bad] and the screams that the enemies make when you shoot them are corny and cartoony. I suggest that you do not buy this game because of the reasons listed above. Please, save your money and buy a better game like Counter-Strike (The best game ever made) Half-Life (The second best) or Rainbow Six: Raven Shield (The third best) If you are looking for realism, DO NOT look here at this game. Its pathetic.
