This was a great game! It was really easy to catch on but yet challanging. I recemmend this game for all of those who love RPG. Its funny, has the Anime look and full of songs! This is a must have game!

I first saw the game when I was watching my friend play. It was fun just to watch her play, so I decided I would go and buy it. After I started playing it, I didn't want to stop! It was SOOOO much fun!!! I am thinking that any game made by Atlus USA is probably a good one. Rhapsody is an adventure, an RPG, and a really fun game! What more could you want?!

I am enjoying this game!

Music, music, music! This game has a fantasy, romance, love, challenge, friendship, a life lesson, hope, encouragement and expectation. While I am playing this game, I laughed so hard and I cried with tears several times. This game is definitely targeting girls, though. The story plots are carefully made and compared with the other games' too long, queer and confusing stories, this game story is a simple, yet unique, and funny and heart touching. I really like the new concept of putting musical animation scenes (Karaoke style words are appearing under the screen while the musical is on) during a game, and I realized that musicals are giving a same or better effect to the story than a mealy realistic 3D movie scenes. I like the new feature of the music gallery which you can sing a song (Karaoke style words are appearing under the screen). I do not forget to mention that the free musical CD comes with the game, and it became one of my favorite music collection. Bad side of this game is musical quality is not as high as a broadways or Disney animation. I also noticed that cave or dungeon scene are the same (just a slightly color changing) but I could easily guess that the game maker did this way to improve the game performance. If I can hope something more to this game is that the better musical quality and credits after the game. (By the way, someone said that the song "Someday" did not show in the game. Yes, it appears while you waited after the game title appears.)

I just played that Rhapsody PS game for almost 4 hours. It's fun. VERY girly, rpg, I can't see any boy wanting to play it, it's strange that it sells for so much money (it's rare) on onilne auctions. The villianesses are sexy anime girls, you play the main girl who can communicate with puppets who are her army with her for fighting, her main puppet buddy is this smart mouthed fairy that flies around with her everywhere while she tries to win the prince's heart. It's so cute and funny! Highly reccomended for girls...This game is great, I played on easy level, but I should put it on hard because it was way too easy. I think it would be more entertaining for teenage girls, maybe some younger even. The graphics are good, the sound is good if you are a teen girl, and the gameplay is not too difficult but still fun.

I played for 20 min and i gave the game to my sis. Looked to me like a solid rpg but the music and the storyline is just for girls. Try ff7 or chrono cross instead.

I love this game so much but i have to admit it is kinda korny. It's the kinda game that every girl would love cuz it has the classic tale of a girl falling in love with her prince charming but at least it has a twist, as we play Cornet she must free her price charming. And that's what is so fun about it. The game is all bloody in the fight parts and the attack are funny and cute. Best of all it has anime charactoring. I'm a sucker for Anime that's how i got this game. And what's the cluest is that u can view all the illistrations. U know those illistrations that u aquire in the game well u can see all the illistrations that u can get in the game. And the pictures of them r so neat. But the thing i'm currently hating right now about this game is that i'm stuck at this part. My game skill must just be horrible cuz i can't freaking defeat the stupid worm. I did it once and then Etoile come in and i have to do it again and it hard for me to do since all my puppets and monsters have really high levels seriously really high levels so i end up killing the worm heart after 2 hits. Or somtimes 1. AHHHHHH! Well G2G BYE i hope u ppls love the game as much as i do!!!

Rhapsody is one of the best games I played EVER!! There might have been some minor flaws, but thats it. The background music might not be so good, but who CARES? Once you get playing the game, that shouldn't bother you too much.
Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure doesn't take long to complete. Despite that, it totally rocks! There are some really interesting puppets to befriend. When you do, they'll have mini-tasks for you to complete. You have the choice to do that or not.
The illustrations are really great. Personally, my favorite parts of the game are the illustrations and the songs.. ^_^

My cousin and me found this game at Game Stop for about $40.00, and since it was an Atlus game by Nippon Ichi we decide to purchase it. my cousin finished the game first and he liked it,and I decided to try it. i was dissapointed. The gameplay was horrible! No matter what the game difficulty is the game is too easy! How easy? So easy that you can kill the boss in a couple of turns. Also, what I want to know is why have do the battles have to be like the tactic games? I'm talking about moving on panels and stuff, especially in this game when you don't have to move that much at all. exploring dungeons are very tiresome. the story is ok since it is about a girl saving a guy istead of the other way around, artwork is good too, but htis game will never be on the same level as disgaea, phantom brave,makai kingdom, and la pucelle tactics. I you're into tactics games and haven't tried any of those 4 If recommend you try them since they're way better than this game.

Although some of my *cough* male friends have made fun of me for wanting to play this game, I still love it. The story is so cute and I think many teenage girls will be able to relate to 16-year-old Cornet. "Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure" kept me hooked for hours...or atleast until my friend told me to stay away from her playstation ^^; Anyway, if you are looking for a fun RPG game, Rhapsody is awesome.
