Son Happy with game, Imressed with graphics

As a parent I was happy with my sons reaction. As a gaming enthusiast, I was happy with the game play and impressed with the graphics.

The game has various types of gameplay and my son seems content with character development, which to me is a little odd but the developers seem to have found something that kids find intruiging.

Graphics are incredible and the new levels are fun to skate. You can laterally skate/grind/slide just about everything possible. Some of the goals/challenges are pretty hard but if like the Tony Hawk series you definitely love this one!

Compared to some of the eariler Tony Hawk games this game is just ok. I really like the THPS series and the T.H.U.G. series better. At $24.99 it was a good buy.

Great Game. My brother played for 5 hours straight and it started melting the disk. I don't suggest you play that long.

I don't think that is Amazon's fault. I think it is my brothers.

overall I am very Pleased with my purchase.

Great game. Very fun!

tony,tony,tony i loved american wasteland and could not wait for p8. i was a tad bit dissapointed. the classic mode is built in with the story mode, i never really enjoyed classic so this is a con. another is the fact that there is no mode. like easy normal or sick. i usually start with easy then move up but i guess it's automatically on normal so after u beat there is nothin else to do except beat side missions.

because american wasteland had no load time they must have thrown the load time to this game. when your in free mode it takes 7 seconds to load the next player on the list...... n64 was faster...... no customization either not a very good game this is a game that u want to rent not buy first

When I play'd the demo it blew me away, then one of my homies told me to get it he said the Graphixs are much better than the demo so I bought it, but can't play it becuz 360 is broken...damn :(

Frankly, I was greatly disappointed. Sure, the gameplay itself is the same, and I had no problem running up big combos, etc. But the game has, like the last 3 or 4 games before it, gone down the "let's put in lame jokes and stupid tasks" route. Give me a tough line, not some joke task that 8 year olds think is hilarious. I don't want a Jackass game, I want a Tony Hawk game. The skater customisation is non-existant, which is astounding considering that this is the 8th game, and supposedly the next-gen flagship. If you're new skating game player, then by all means, play this game. But if you're a fan of the Tony Hawk series, just get Tony Hawk 4 out again; it'll be a far better use of your time.
