I'll keep this review short.
I don't like this game. It feels very clunky, and the level design(for all three movies) isn't good. Example: On the Return of the Jedi level 1. You can use Luke Skywalker, and slice through Gimmorian guards with your lightsaber. Well, it's more like blocking with your lightsaber until their attacks are done, and then hitting them 3, or 4 times to stop them. This gets old realy, really fast. Especially since they keep constantly popping out and attacking. It's the equal of cutting a steak with a butter knife. It's just plain awkward. Overall this game just felt rushed, and I was shocked that so many game reviewers gave it good marks. Indiana Jones Lego is so much more superior that I can't even put the two games on the same level. I'm hoping the Batman Lego game is done well like Indiana Jones was.
All around fun for both Star Wars and Lego fans of all ages.

This game is a blast to play. It has a great collection of characters to choose from, and the storytelling is presented in a fun humorous way.
Play through episodes 4,5, and 6 while collecting lego pieces to buy unlockable characters and vehicles.
There is tons of replay value within the game. There are so many things to collect, you'll spend hours trying to find everything hidden in all the levels.
The presentation is fantastic.
The story is fun, and is tongue in cheek in it's humor value.
the co-op mode allows you to play along side a friend.
Included in the cantina is a feature where you can change characters around, putting Luke's head on Solo's Body, or any combination you desire. You can then take that character into any level.
If you are familiar with the Star Wars storyline, you will love this game. Tons of unlockables and hidden secrets in the game keep you playing it long after you beat the game.
A Great Game and For All Ages

I just recently bought this game. It is a lot of fun, and keeps you entertained for hours on end. It is a very fun and basic shooter style game, and a puzzle game rolled into one. It's simple enough for a six year old to play but, complex enough to an adult entertained as well. If there is one draw back to this game. It's the menus are very confussing at time and saving can be hassale and sometimes doesn't work. For the money a person can't go wrong. The graphics are good, the game play is excellent, and a great value to boot.
A++ Game

What a blast to play. There is a great combination of puzzle solving and straight fighting, combined with acting out your favorite bits of Star Wars in this game that makes it really fun. Also, the in-between "movie" clips are hilarious. The people that made this game have a great sense of humor.

This is a great game- I got it for my 10 yr old nephew but I played it with him. It has great graphics and it kept his interest for hours. It isn't violent or like some of those other games which are definitely not designed for 10 yr olds. Highly recommend.
Awesome!

What can you say? Legos bring the heat. This game is for all ages and provides enough challenge and replay value to keep you coming back for more. The story mode is funny with some great cut scenes but the real fun begins in the free play mode where you can customize your characters or play with others that you have unlocked. Legos have never been so much fun. This game is focused on the original first three (epsidoes 4-6) before the others came along. If you have played Lego Star Wars I the game play is about the same. The only major down fall is the crazy camera angle. other than that...this is a must buy.
Only the COOLEST GAME EVER!!!

I plan comic book conventions for a living, so yeah, i guess i'm just a grown up kid, but seriously? This game is THE GREATEST. i loved Legos as a kid, and i loved Star Wars the same. Playing it now, its the best of two worlds. The game is rad and offers many challenges, and gaming strategies...fun for kids and adults alike.
Lighthearted and fun

There is just something satisfying about shooting a blaster at an object and watching it explode into dozens of Lego pieces. This game has fun humor in it, a variety of level types and flexible multi-player options. It combines collecting and shooting into one game. Very fun.
Lots of fun extras don't quite make up for mediocre gameplay

I think the LEGO Star Wars games are a great concept, and a great way to make yet another series of games based on the Star Wars movies and tell the same story for the millionth time without seeming too repetitive. This game injects some humor into the Star Wars saga, and it's quite enjoyable to see classic scenes from the movies acted out with LEGOs. This game features tons of extras as well--unlockable characters and ships, special items, gold bricks which are used to access even more content--all kinds of stuff that adds flavor to the game and gives you a reason to come back for more after you've played the game through.
The problem, however, is that even if all the extras add replay value to this game the gameplay itself gets pretty old quickly. It's fun to run around as a LEGO version of Han Solo or Ben Kenobi and shoot little LEGO Stormtroopers for a short while, but it soon wears thin. The puzzles in the game aren't that impressive either--they don't take much to solve and often don't add much to the experience. There isn't much challenge--just shoot wildly at stuff and if you die you'll immediately come back (though you will lose some of the little studs the game uses as currency).
The control is lacking as well. The camera view ranges from being tolerable sometimes to being absolutely infuriating at others, and you don't have much control over the angle. Your allies get in the way sometimes--as you go to shoot at a squadron of Stormtroopers you'll see yourself blasting away at C-3PO instead (or, if the camera isn't working right, you'll just hear him blow up), and if you're close to an ally you'll punch him or her instead of shooting at whatever it is you're trying to shoot at.
I don't want to be too critical of this game because all the extras and unlockable stuff make it worth playing, if even for a relatively short time. The "staging area" of the game is the Mos Eisley Cantina, where you can choose the mission you want to play and where the characters you've unlocked wander around. It's a nice touch, and the added ability to create custom characters by switching out body parts (just like real LEGOs!) is a definite plus. Still, even though I wanted to keep at this game and keep working toward 100% completion I couldn't bring myself to do it--I could only play through some of those levels so many times...
Overall I'd say this game is worth a shot (a rental maybe), and is certainly a nice alternative for younger Star Wars fans or gamers who want a Star Wars game that isn't too heavy on action. If you've got a Wii, however, you might want to wait for the upcoming compilation of both this and the first Star Wars LEGO game (episodes 1-3)--there may be some changes and additions made that could really improve upon the current game.
Excellent... If XBox Live is not a biggie...

This game has a lot of replay value. I have been playing the game every night for the past 4 weeks, and while I am still not completely through the game, I still have reason to play.
The one thing I was disappointed with is the lack of Online capabilities. I was under the impression I would be able to at least play CO-Op with a friend online, but there is absolutely no XBox Live functionality to the game.
