It doesn't run at all

I installed the software and it doesn't run at all! Instead, my computer is down whenever I try to run it. The manufacturer doesn't even give us a toll-free number to contact them.

This game is a terrific vehicle for teaching chess strategy to kids--ok, maybe adults too. My [...] and I play together and have a great time. The adventure game really holds his attention. The only drawback to the game is that the "save" command is buried in "options." This means it is very easy to exit without saving your game. Still, I recommend it highly.

Hey guys Majestic CHess is a pretty solid chess program. Great graphics and images filled with action and adventure. What more can one ask for. Anyways The demo and trailer are also awesome which are avialable on the gaming site. I have been having the time of my life challening against those 24 idffernt intelligences!!! .....

I picked up the ValueSoft version a few days ago, and I'm really enjoying it. The last time I played chess was over 20 years ago, and I wanted this game ever since I played the demo. There appears to be a lot of basic information about chess I never knew about before. Variable graphics and music are very conducive to play. I'm working on both the Adventure mode and Tutorials. These two modes mirror each other in content, though it's easier in Tutorial to select the topic one wishes to cover. Quizes and mini-games seem about the same in either mode.
I can't speak for experienced players, but for a beginner like me, Majestic Chess is a winner, especially at the ValueSoft price.

The graphic design is absolutely cool. The plataform is great and I am really enjoing it.

I did not know it wouldn't work off an intel graphics controller on my Dell 800 MhZ computer. It needs specific graphics controllers. It seems like it is launching then disappears. I feel I am stuck with this now. Being a technology person for the past 25 years, I believed this would be no problem to run. I was wrong.

A great game that is easy and fun to play. Kids will really enjoy the Adventure, but it is also likely to be entertaining for adult beginners and novices. Beautiful graphics.

After reading good reviews, I purchased this cd. What I expected was great, clean, and quality fun product. But this has just fancy background and graphics,and takes 100% cpu usage on my computer (windows xp) and we both computer engieers and chess lovers and our son 6yr old are dissappointed with the purchase.

I purchased and have played with Majestic Chess and I can honestly say that my chess game has improved. Of course, I'm a rank beginner so it didn't take a whole lot to improve my game. The tutorials and the single player adventure were quite fun and challenging. Overall, a great buy and worth the money.
