What else is there to say? This is the best war strategy game I've ever played! The graphics are good, especially the cut scenes, and the amount of things you can build, train and destroy are numerous! Also, the Tanya character is the best! Fun, challenging and cool, I urge you to buy this game!

Well, I loved C&C I, but I almost literally worshipped Westwood for Red alert, man this games rocks! This game makes a worthy heir to the first game and contributes a lot of great new ideas such as warships,amphibious landingcraft, and so on. Take my advise, if you're thinking of buying a C&C, take either this one or C&C I. STAY AWAY from that new junk they just released, Tiberian Sun, although it looks a lot better, it's a laugh compared to the two originals.

C&C:Red Alert, along with its ad-ons, is the best game i have ever played. It has great graphics. If you are looking for a good action game here is a good one. Be warned though this game is very addicting so you might not want to stop playing.

I think this is one of the most awesome war/strategy games of all time. A fast-paced base-builder in which the player must think on his feet in order to build a strong foundation for the rest of the game. O.K graphics,interesting story (If only the missions had more variety one that no strategy gamer should be without!

Having played Warcraft and Warcraft2, I was ready for a more "real life" fighting game with tanks and soldiers. Red Alert was the answer. Overall, Red Alert is great! A person can play as Soviets or Allies with funky weapons unique to both like Tesla Coils or Gap Generators. Additionally, a person can play the game on-line with as many as four players (more with faster Internet connections.) If you like to play strategy and grind your buddy's head into the dirt at the same time, this game is for you. Oh, and I agree with everyone else - this game is VERY addictive, especially if you play it with buddies over a network or over the Internet. Expect to spend several hours playing.

I bought this game from a software catologe. I had also had Command and Conquer Gold Addition and Command and Conquer No.1. 1 and two were great, there just so addictive. The same is with Red Alert. As everyone who has ever played Command and Conquer knows, it can be a little frusterating when you try 15 times to beat a mission and never win, but what decent game isn't like that? Overall a great game.

This is one of the best strategy games I have ever played, it is very easy to use and is fun to play it runs at real time and has good graphics and musicplus you get to save or overrun the world with huge machines of war that realy rock.

If you like war-style games, this is the Best for You

Command & Conquer: Red Alert is one of the best stradegy games of all time. Take your pick of sides, Soviet or Allied and make your way through 15 missions, each of which you must accomplish all of the set goals to finish the mission. Plus, you and your friends can play over modem, or online at westwood's online site, with the Westwood Online program. This is highly recommended if you like war-like games. Have fun!

This is a great game for a first strategy. The things you can build are cool. The action is realistic. The single player missions are fairly challenging. If you have a newer strategy game this is not worth the buy. It is a good game for begginers. The buildings aren't named some weird names like on other games. The name tells you exactly what it is. This was my first strategy game and it gets you hooked.

This is an excellent buy. If you are a C&C fan this would be a good game for you. The game features a multiplayer game against the computer and regular missions or single player game. Overall this is a great game.
