If you are looking for an awesome strategy games with lots of action, Red Alert is the way to go. It has over 30 different levels of intense bunker-bustin', enemy whoopin', tank-shockin' action! This is a must own for all military and strategy gamers alike!

Unfortunately I got this as a gift AFTER already playing the new Tiberian Sun version of C&C. While this game might have been state of the art 3 years ago, now it appears dated. So if you're deciding on this versus Tiberian Sun, go with Tiberian Sun.

-This is the best version of Red Alert. The Expansion version of this one (Red Alert Counterstrike) is even better!! I have tried many other strategy game by this same company, but the original Red Alert and its expansion is by far the best!!

C&C:Red Alert, along with its ad-ons, is the best game i have ever played. It has great graphics. If you are looking for a good action game here is a good one. Be warned though this game is very addicting so you might not want to stop playing.

This is a great game for a first strategy. The things you can build are cool. The action is realistic. The single player missions are fairly challenging. If you have a newer strategy game this is not worth the buy. It is a good game for begginers. The buildings aren't named some weird names like on other games. The name tells you exactly what it is. This was my first strategy game and it gets you hooked.
If you like war-style games, this is the Best for You

Command & Conquer: Red Alert is one of the best stradegy games of all time. Take your pick of sides, Soviet or Allied and make your way through 15 missions, each of which you must accomplish all of the set goals to finish the mission. Plus, you and your friends can play over modem, or online at westwood's online site, with the Westwood Online program. This is highly recommended if you like war-like games. Have fun!

Red Alert is one of my all time favorite games. I would recommend it to all. The missions are great. There is only one problem in that you can't save skirmishes. This mistake is made up for by the fact that you are so addicted you'll play for hours. The theme of the game is that scienticts went back in time and killed Hitler. Now the Soviets and Allies do battle. Both sides are intertaining and diffrent. The game is diffrent enough to own Tiberan Sun and Red Alert. I would recommend to one and all.

I must have played a thousand games in college. This game simply made me look for more strategy games to buy. To this day, I have not played a better strategy game. Head to head against a friend is second to none and there are so many methods to beat the opponent. My personal favorite; sneak in thieves and deplete the enemy's silos.
