"Red Alert" VERY BIG ON WAR

This game is great it has good graphic. It is not like the boxy graphic. But it could be a little harsh for kids under 8 years of age. There is some killing and blood. It is war where you have to kill and destroy the other base. Tons a guns and rockets which can scare kids. I would recommand this game to all kids over 8 years of age. You must also have a good strategy and must think alot(so it is alittle educational). But it is a all around good game. so please consider this game.

This is a good game but without the new vehicles it's a little tougher. If your a beginner, it takes a lot of practice to start getting it. The graphics aren't super great, but it's a great game. I would recommend checking out the expansion packs Aftermath and Counterstrike so you get new maps and vehicles. Or look at Worldwide Warfare which has all of these and it has C&C gold too.

Having played Warcraft and Warcraft2, I was ready for a more "real life" fighting game with tanks and soldiers. Red Alert was the answer. Overall, Red Alert is great! A person can play as Soviets or Allies with funky weapons unique to both like Tesla Coils or Gap Generators. Additionally, a person can play the game on-line with as many as four players (more with faster Internet connections.) If you like to play strategy and grind your buddy's head into the dirt at the same time, this game is for you. Oh, and I agree with everyone else - this game is VERY addictive, especially if you play it with buddies over a network or over the Internet. Expect to spend several hours playing.

Of all the strategic games I have ever played, I'd have to say Command & Conquer Red Alert is the all time best. My reason for liking this game so much is that it kept me excited and occupied the whole time I played it. There seemed to be an endless amount of scenarios and endings to each campaign. But the one feature about the game that I liked the most by far is the Skirmish Mode, which allows you to play the computer on one battlefield to conquer eachother's base. I also enjoyed playing over the internet against human players, which gave me a sense of actually playing another person with different strategies and skills. The way it allows you to build your own base and conquer others gives you a sense of complete control over what happens next. You can control individual soldiers or a group of tanks, men, and aircraft to attack enemy structures. If you are a big strategic game fan this is a must have. You won't be dissapointed!

only the best strategy game in history. I got it five years ago and have been addicted ever since. you should get it it is the best game. my friend got tiberian sun and it didn't stop crashing his computer until he uppgraded it.

This is an excellent buy. If you are a C&C fan this would be a good game for you. The game features a multiplayer game against the computer and regular missions or single player game. Overall this is a great game.

This game is great for RTS players young and old. I never get tired of it, and the many expansions and maps you can play allow for thousands of unique games. The campaign is top rate, too!

Command & conquer Red Alert is a game I usually play at my friends house. Its a pretty fun video game. If you like strategy games which makes you think you will love this game. Its really hard as well. You can choose your country and have an army. You start off with $10,000 and you buy things that will keep your base safe because the other country is trying to kill you and destroy your land. You must get lots of soliders and good buildings and planes and lots of other things in order to defeat them.

The real time strategy (along with Warcraft) got a change when Westwood released this game.

Counterstrike made it better.
