I enjoyed this liscensed title very much. The graphics were insanely good. The control scheme worked out okay (4 out of 5 stars). If you've watched the LOTR movies a billion times, then you'd probably get bored of the sound quickly, but if you haven't, then it sounds okay. (...)

Amazing Graphics, Incredible Replayability, and you get that fealing that this could actualy exist, after i had beaten this game it didnt matter if i played it once or a million times, i had to do it again, i tinhk ive beaten it about four times now, and each time its still just as exciting for me. The Charectors act and appear just the same as the movie, with some clips and scenes from the movie, also with some commentary, interviews, and pictures from both the featured movies it runs off of. This Game is a must for any LOTR fan, and a must for any X-Box owner.
Godd luck and happy gaming.

This is 1 of the best darn games out there. The graphics are something that you would expect from x-box[meaning astounding].
The gameplay is unbeatable because of the swell moves, great levels, and the way u can relate it to the movie. Every now and then there is a cut scene directly from yhe movie. The 1 problem with the game is that it is to short. U can beat the game with 1 person in about 4-7 hours of playing.U buy moves at the end of each level depending on your level and expierence points. This is a good game.

Could have been one of the best...Had they not stolen control
from the gamer.Don't time me and don't ever force me to go the
way you want me to go.Cut scenes are way too many and it's ba-
sically a rail shooter. The fighting moves are good but not even
close to Enclave.Next time,EA,get the **** out of my way and
allow me the time and freedom to wander. Also way too short. You
can easily beat this game in one or two days. Was also let down
when they left out the demon down in the mines of Moria. No you
couldn't beat him,but it would have been nice to get chased out
of the mines by him.

I am a fellow Lord of the Rings fan, like most of you. I first purchased this game two days ago and it blew my mind away.
The beginning takes place at the base of Mount Doom, you're Isildur and you're fighting the Orcs near a lava-river. As you slice your way threw the onslaught of Orcs, you see a figure in the distance. It's Sauron, the Dark Lord. He knocks you towards a rock wall and tries to grab you, but you chop his hand off and take the One Ring. You play as Aragorn, Legolas, or Gimili. At the beginning of every level, you can select which character you'd like to use. As you beat levels, you get experience points. After a level, you may purchase new moves/items for your character, making them stronger. The controls are very good once you get used to them. Once you beat the game, you can take Secret Levels that make you use a certain character, and once you beat all of the Secret Levels, you unlock a Secret Character and another Secret Level, making this game worth the money. Overall - The creators did a great job making this game, I advise you to purchase it if you're a LOTR fan like myself. Hope this review helps you out.

This is a great game. The graphics ... They rule! The gameplay is great, and you can't tell when it go's from movie to video game. Your characters have levels, 1-10, and the higher the level, the better your character. You get to by upgrades for your character, and they really help. My favorite character is Legolas, who's bow attacks are very deadly, and he's very fast. Gimli is slow, but he's like a battletank. Aragorn is a more of a blend of the two. If you get this game enjoy! Oh yah, it's kinda short.
Sweet Fighting, Great LOTR action, still a little short

I'd give this 4 and a half stars, but it isn't an option. This game is outstanding! The graphics are second to none, and the fight sequences are great. The controls and difficulty are fair, even on the HARD level. I only had 2 gripes. First, the game is a little short. It didn't take too long to beat, but don't let that deter you. Some of the levels take a lot longer to get through than you would think. The other is that the secret character is a disappointment. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so lets just leave it at that.
A great game to two great movies.

This game is very fun to play, but I would rent it instead of purchasing the Two Towers, because the gameplay is short. The game starts in the War of the Ring where you play Isildur and you fight some orcs. Then it leads of to the weathertop from there on. You can gain levels and experience points to use on unlocking new and desvating new moves or upgrades. Every character has a ranged attack including Gimli (throwing axes). The game is pretty easy unless its a mission where you need to keep someone alive or a whole village from being ransacked. The only problems I have with this game is that every characters moves are the same except they're named differently. Plus, you cannot stand next to or on fire for 3 seconds without dying. Which is pretty stupid when you can take 10 whacks from an enemy and you can't stand in fire for more than a very limited time period. All in all, rent this game, you will have a pretty good time.
