one of the best games on the planet

this game (...) rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!you can play it 3 times since you can take each character through the boards if you wish.the characters are the elf,dwarf and strider from the movie.as you advance levels you can get points for how effectively you killed the monsters.then you buy cool moves after each mission.an example move might be like "from a lying posistion spring up,swing hitting everyone in range then drive your sword into one guys guts killing him."its so cool!on some boards there are literaly hundreds of monsters coming after you.so all in all its like if someone took d and d,made mortal kombat like fighters with the characters then through them in to a star wars battlefront like situation.its totaly cool and definarely within the top 5 maybe 3 games ever invented!

This is the best game ever! You first start the game as Icealdor fighting
millions of Orcs and Goblins.After a couple minites the DARK LORD SAURON
will apear.Then you will notice Icealdor cutting SAURON in half.The saddest part in the game is that Icealdor refuses to destroy the ring
of evil.After SAURON is defeted you start going foward in time about
3000 years When the hobbit Frodo Baggins is given the ring so he can destroy it in the fires of Mount Doom.But the hobbit had one fear,
Naziguls. But help is near!And that is when you start the 2nd Level
as Aragorn saving Frodo`s [...] from the Ringrauth`s.I need to poop!

Not! Thus the game is just like the movie the characters have the same names,weapons,and voices. The combo's are cool. I like legolas he shoots fast but is tiny.I like to cheat on this game.
Thats always fun.But the game is a joy to play and the enemy is simple,orcs,trolls, and possibly every ugly fantasy critter you can think of.The lvels are a treat sneaking up on the enemy to a full out 3 level ending of defense of the castle thingy.The game has a taste of the 1st movie action.The disadvantage is if the game had a cooperative setting {more than one player}would make the game more enjoyable but thats ok. buyit,play it,keep it real,This is not a joke the game is easier to play it on expert theres no difference.

I heard that the game is so fascinating but have observed that is much appealing to serve mostly adolescent boys (13-16 years of age). For those who are adult men but still enjoy owning/playing this adventuresome game must be catious to not offer this entertainment at all to children and women.

In your own behalf, please safely enjoy your use of this spectacular game.

I'm not a huge or even a big fan of the Lord of the rings. I only watched the movies and played this game and thats it.

These game whin it starts dosen't strat at the 2 towers but at the followship. you spend the first 5 levels in the 1st movie then the last 5 levels in the two towers. The graphics aren't that bad the stroy is not there you just go everwhere and in no peticular place. When your fighting there could be 5 to 1, and you have to buy upgrades for new moves and weapons. Thats no fun I'd reather earn them, and when your at helm's deep the part two and three had nothing to do with the movie. If you want to play a good good 3rd person view game like this one don't play this.

Holy cow!! This game is so cool!! I love it. I play it every day and I don't get tired of it. The graphics are the best I've ever seen! The actual movements of the players is the same too. Legolas and his bow..............to cool to describe. Gimli can get like 5 orcs in one swing and Aragorn is overall good! WOW!! Go buy this game man!!

The lord of the lord of the rings:the two towers is an awsome game.It begins with movie trailers of the first movie.Then you go in your first battle.You are Isildur fighting lots of Orcs.Tip:Press the Y button twice to do the Isildur's Bane move.In your next battle you are Aragorn and you are fighting the ringwraiths on weathertop.Tip:Press the y button once to set the ringgwraith on fire, then press the button seven more times to kill it.your next battle is at the gates of moria.You battle Orcs and the watcher of the water.To beat him you must wade in the water,then when he strikes at You press the x button then the a button,when his head comes up press the left trigger then the a button.You get to choose between Aragorn,Legolas and Gimli....

Whoever wrote that this game was right on dot with Tolkien(the book) is completely wrong and blatantly ignorant. The movie has a lot of serious departures from the book and a hardcore tolkien-o-phile can tell you that neither the movie nor the game is anywhere close to the book. The other LOTR game put out by a rival company is a close representation of the book. Having said that, this game is worth playing, and the graphics and the game play is
excellent. The game seems very short though :(

Great graphics. Elements from both movies, game starts at the beginning of the trilogy (the Fellowship) and ends at the end of the Two Towers. Very short game includes special features. Great for people that dont spend very much time playing video games, little or no replay value. 12 levels plus four survival levels you can play the game as Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and you can earn and play through the game as Isildur.
