I am an old school super nintendo type of girl and this game reminds me so much of that. I absolutley loved it. Although it is hard to get to certain worlds, I would definitley recommended it to anyone who likes the old fashioned mario brothers.

This was a good game overall, however the set up was strange, because some levels were directly taken from other Mario Games. If you have never played a mario game then this won't bug you. Still worth the time and money.

Anyone who owns a DS should definitely own this game. In a nutshell, this game is classic 2-D Mario with updated graphics. Same old story, same old platforming fun.
The one-player campaign isn't too lengthy but can be challenging when you factor in the two secret worlds. There's also a sizable collection of mini-games, most of which are a blast and are great to just pick up and play for a few minutes.
As for the multiplayer, I can't really say much because I haven't played it. Although it's probably an added bonus, the multiplayer modes certainly aren't the selling points.
I said it once and I'll say it again: any self respecting gamer who owns a DS must have this in his/her collection.

My son loves this game! The product arrived super quick and everything has exceeded expectations.

My son and I really enjoy this game. I remember playing my brother's original Mario Brothers in the eighties. This one is like that, but so much more fun! I am not a big gamer (this is the first gaming system I've owned--got it to play Brain Age) so this is right up my alley. It's not complicated, challenging enough to keep it fun, but not too involved. My son and I enjoy finding the hidden coins, items and passages.

I got this game for my two boys(9 and 14). They both enjoy playing it and say it is a lot of fun. It is the most fun video game they have and it is also challenging.

Took me three hours to beat and im still playing trying to unlock secret stuff. A great bow the the origionals and a great new mario atmosphere and monsters to fight. amazing new graphics and power up's too!
