Hard but Fun

When I first played this game on a demo disc, I wasn't really sure what to do but I understood it after the second try. Once you get the hang of the game, it's pretty cool. The graphics are okay and how the car changes from a speed boat to a motocycle is pretty neat. Understanding the main goal of the game takes some thinking but overall the game was good.

This is a really cool game. I wasnt familiar with the original one, but this one looked cool so i went out and bought it. It is AWESOME! It is addictive and everything about it is great.

Yup; it's better and much more fast paced than the origional 1983 game. I couldn't put this baby down for the first 2 hours and now it's all I think about. Excellent!

This was my first game for PS2. First this was good but after the fourth level it startded to get real boring. If you want to buy this game, RENT IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!

This is probably the best remake of a classic game you may ever play. It has all the elements of the original arcade game but in 3-D. It also adds objective based missions that add replay value. The controls are responsive and easy to master. The graphics are crisp and the framerate never slows down, even when there are tons of enemys on the screen.(which happens a lot) The sound is dead on with lots of atmosphere effects and cool explosions. Even the original Peter Gunn theme is here,as done be Siliva. There are also lots of extras and cheats available after completeing certain tasks. This is a great game that you will be playing for a long while.(at least till MGS2 comes out) BUY THIS GAME!

Definitely worth giving a chance if you played in arcade...

Playing this game took me back quite a few years, since I probably dumped hundreds of quarters in the original. The graphics and play are top-notch, and the missions are fun and challenging, although at times you begin to feel like you are invincible with the amount of damage you can absorb! I agree with the reviews that say there are not enough levels--you can beat this game with several hours of dedicated playing. The good news is, the game and play is addicting enough that you WANT to play it straight through to the end. I never lost interest in it like some other games. Rent it to try it no matter what, but even with the relatively short length it is a great buy if you liked the original. I see a SH2 in the near future...

This game takes you back to the old school, but I only had it for a week and its all over. I beat it already. This game needs more gadgets, and more levels. Maybe some levels where you can actually control the spy hunter himself-as an action hero. I don't know-I guess it was O.K. I'm 50 bucks poorer but I had a fun week.

This game combines three critical elements to make a great whole -- Driving, shooting things, and mission/adventure. The graphics are great, the shooting is satisfying and the missions are challenging.

I have recently just bought this new PS2 game, and im completly satisfyied. This game is a whole lot of fun... and at the same time very exciting. The single player mode is definatly the highlight of the game. You go to varous parts of the world. And complete a searies of tasks. Some challenging others a piece of cake.

The game is addicting and fun. This game is definatly a step up from your average car racing game! Go out and buy. You will be glad u did!

Will thrill lovers of the 80's classic and newbie's alike!

Spy Hunter was a great arcade game, with great controls, a cool setting, and fast action. The new SpyHunter offers no less, although it's made the technological jumps that one would expect. The 3D graphics are beautiful, the movies and music are fantastic, and those are just icing on the cake. The in game action is fast and furious. I can't keep my hands off of the single player missions, and my friend and I instantly loved the two player competition (includes missions to blow up the most chickens! ;) ) This is a great game.
