Yu-gi-oh fans stick like meatal to a magnet

This game great.Me,my Dad and Sisster all play. It captures all the aspects of the real Duels. It is fun learning about new cards you have never seen before. Fight all the Dulests in the duling platforms and enter the tunament as Yu-gi-oh. It also includes neat 3d battle sequences. The dules don`t take that long at all and their is a neat free duel to earn cards and star chips. Get cards by typing in codes from your cards at home of the bottom left hand corner. I like this game also because if you want to make a fusion no poneralazation card need.Its a great game. There is allso a one on one duel, and card trading. I think every yu-gi-oh fan should have this game. It is the first in a long line of great yu-gi-oh games to come. It`s a great preparer for the even tougher games. Dont forget to get to buy yu-gi-oh dulest of Rosses in February.

This is a great game and if you really like yugioh then i sugguest that you buy this game and the blue eyes white dragon is so cool in 3d. And if you are looking for a long and challenging game then this is the perfect choice for you.

Ok, I'll tell you the truth. This game isn't all bad. But it could definatly be better. I noticed in the game you can't actually walk, the story carries you. you.
Another thing I was dissapointed about was how many starchips you must pay to obtain Blue Eyes White Dragon, 99,999 starchips! The most you can get in one duel is 5. Even Gaia the Fierce Knight. The storyline can also get boring. I think if your a hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh fan you should buy this, if not forget about it.

I bought this game back in October 02. I personally think this game ....

(1) It plays nothing like the real Yu-gi-oh! card game, believe me. I've played for a while and have won a few tourney's.

(2) No monster effects--not sure about Exodia though.

(3) Good cards cost too many star chips which is the method for obtaining cards. For instance, you win about 8 chips at the most, and a good card in THIS GAME, which maybe horrible in the real game costs 800 chips.

(4) Rare cards cost 9999 chips. Hane-hane, a card with atk450/def500 and which returns a monster to the owner's hand, is a rare which costs 9999 but it has no effect making it useless. Though you probably will never make this card part of your deck this stiil infuriates me.

(5) You have to fuse monsters in the beginning to win. Also the cards don't use polymerization. For example Twinheaded Thunder Dragon calls for a thunderdragon and another thunderdragon, yet in the game you just use two dragon monsters and a thunder monster.

(7)Fusion mons don't even have to be made. If you have Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon you don't have to fuse them--if it's in your hand just play it on the field.

(8) No sacrificing weaker mons to summon stronger ones. This is why I don't recommend this game. Nor do I recommend the cards that come with the game. To rate them on a scale of 1-5:

(a)Harpies Pet Dragon-- 1--horrible

(b) Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon--0--even worse,cool picture though.

(c) Metalmorph--4--best promo card out

(9) The game is too darned hard!

The only resason I would buy this is because of the cards. The graphics aren't real great. Enternal Duelist Soul is the best Yu-gi-oh! game around. Buy only if you really love Yu-gi-oh! as much as I do.

I am 8 years old and I love yu gi oh it is my favorite show and then a yu gi oh game.duel monsters is a very cool game and now itis for the ps i cant wait intill forbidden memories2 comes out.

don't listen to all the people because at first you love this game then you start hating it overall i say dark duel stories
is 100x better then this game i've excpect better from konami

Yu-gi-oh PS2 game

I bought this game for [money] when I got home and put it in my PS2 I noticed that the people do not move they only move their lips and eyes. When you do the 3d battle sequence they look 2d. It is fun to play the game but the graphics stink. If you want to get it get it but it's a rip off.

I am major Yu-gi-oh! fan i play a lot of yu-gi-oh video game some are fun but some are not When i first got this game i think this was going to be fun game but it was not like when i have a BEWD 3000 atk a monster whit 400 atk best it and when you buy card on this game a lot of the card are too munch it like 999,999 chips (on the game)
