DON'T DO IT

I am a huge fan of the Star Wars Trilogy and Phantom Menace, but don't spend you money on this. If you really want to play it then rent it. The enjoyment you get from being Obi - Wan wears off quick and Jar Jar is just as annoying in the game as he is in the movie. There are no suprises, and when the Queen starts following you around it just gets annoying.

star wars 1 is pretty cool

at first i thought i would be able to play as darth maul (my faviorite sw1 character) and i found out that i could only play as obi wan and qui gon and the queen and her guard panaka but otherwise its pretty good and you get to see what happens between the scenes of the movie( which i also enjoyed very much for biening a star wars fan since the original sw special edition came out and that aint long.) so other wise its a pretty good for a movie translate! a must buy for a sw fan but for others rent it first.

Star Wars: Episode one is the best game ever. I dont like shoot-em-up games, but this one rules! You must buy it! It is totally worth its price!

Hasta La Vista, Trade Federation

Okay, chop this droid, push that one, bat back a laser at that one, and pull out my proton torpedo launcher and blast away that Destroyer Droid. While the graphics in this game are a bit blah, and the gameplay and weapons are limited, this game is still good for blowing away the Trade Federation. You can slice droids and regular people, destroy an AAT (Armored Assault Tank), or just play around. But it is strange. On the second level, little fish frogs attack you. In Mos Espa, people will come up to you and try to kill you. At one point, you have one million little jawas trying to kill you, and some of them have sheilds. Whodathunkit? You get pleasure from killing kids in Mos Espa. The last level is hard as killing Darth Maul was. This game is good for gameplay, but be careful. If you buy it and hate it, Darth Maul and Jar Jar will come into your house and...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHH!

A great game that lives up to the movie! Not many movies have been made into good videogames but this one wins my approval!! Five stars!! Incredible graphics, story, characters and vehicles. A must have for any Star Wars fan! END

The game does not follow the movie whatsoever in any way. Sure powerbattles doesnt but it wasnt meant to. Dont buy the game horiblle graphics and you cant jump or do anything.{you can but, you call that a jump?} The last level is way to difficult to beat. i played for a total of 2 months on that level. im not kidding. i am however an okay gamer. i beat power battles in a month and a half.

Over all it is an awesome game the graphics arent great but hey its playstation not X box. the fighting is really exiting and the enemies are smart (like if charge them sometimes they will reatreat) it is pretty difficult i wouldnt recomend this game for a first timer(When i say first timer i mean u couldnt fricken beat space invaders)but i would definately reccomend buying it.

This game is okay. They add too much off the story line. Also, it gets fustrating when they make you have to find stuf or mind puzlles

The graphics could be better but the overall experience is fun. It is fun because you can interact with the different characters from the mevie and you have to solve challenging puzzles. Play the game as far as you can before you use the cheat codes.

2nd only to Metal Gear Solid

This is a totally cool game.Not as much action as Metal Gear,but if your a Star Wars fan you will love it.Challenging and fun.A total interaction with the movie exept for the pod racing.
