This game is hard and it not that good.

I thought this game looked like fun, I was wrong. It is frustrating and you have to press so many keys at once. They never tell you what key to press, and there is bad guys all over and if you get hit like once your dead. This game is dumb.

We bought this use game, it was suppose to be in good condition. It had a deep scratch in it and it doesn't work. I lost my receipt so I couldn't return it. I am very displease by the seller saying it was in good working condition when it doesn't even work!!!!!!!!

A magical little platformer

Rayman's a total trip! Sure, the graphics aren't 3D, but the animation is beautiful! The gameplay is very good as well, with solid control and plenty of fun tasks such as finding captive energy bits and one-ups. If you're a fan of this sort of game, regardless of age, you'll love Rayman! Heck, it's four years old, and I'm STILL playing it!

A classic platformer

Rayman is a solid 2D platformer in the vein of Kid Chameleon and other sixteen-bit era jewels, with about a hundred short sublevels divided into five themed worlds. No plot twists here: shatter the six cages of captured Electoons in every level to confront the master villain and save the Great Protoon. The colorful, witty graphics and the action-packed, absorbing gameplay is where the game really shines. The packaging boasts four separate backgrounds running simultaneously. I haven't counted, but it seems true. The sprites are large, colorful, and expressive. What really amazes is the amount of interaction: you may find yourself dodging enemy projectiles, steering a floating berry, and ducking under swinging obstacles, all at the same time. Not to mention the minigames and the numerous hidden items. Rayman is a complete package, warranting at least a look.

Rayman is a great 2D platformer game from a visionary game designer. If you like games like Sonic, Mario, Megaman, or Ghouls and Ghosts, you'll like Rayman. It's simple controls lead to complex gameplay as fantastical monsters swarm around you as you run, swing, bounce , and fly your way through gorgeous levels. Once you defeat all the bosses and finish the game, you can go back to previous areas to collect all the items you might have missed. Rayman is a very fun game with good replay value and is definitely worth a try.

This game might be 2D, about 4 years old (This game premeared on Sega Saturn), and the idea is kinda strange, but this is a GREAT game! At first it starts out quite easy (You'll beat the first 5 levels in less than 2 minutes) but soon you're wondering if there is a way to beat the game. Heck, before you know it you'll buy the stratigy guide to try and figure out what to do next. This game has given me more of a challange in gaming than Lara Croft did in Tomb Raider. I highly recomend this game. Now where is a copy for Dreamcast? Huh, Sega?

Never have I been so obsessed with a game like Rayman. It's like you learn something new everyday. I played this in the software format too. I recommend this to everyone. PlayStation knows exactally what to do to keep people entertained.

Rayman was our first Playstation game. It kept us entertained (and frustrated at times!) for hours on end. It starts out easy, but it doesn't last for long! The 2nd Rayman was easier and even more fun. You might want to try the Spyro series, too.
