The Best Gundam Fighting Game Yet

Okay, take G Gundam, Endless Dual and Gundam Battle Assualt 1, mix them all together and you would come up with this game. GBA2 is one of the coolest gundam games that will ever be made for Playstation.

To start off, there are a few things in here that are the same from GBA1. Some of the music tracks are still arounds and mecha from 0080, 0083, Zeta, ZZ and Char's Counterattack just show up in the game even though they have nothing to do with the One Year War (although I do appreciate the inclusion of Nu Gundam). However, despite that short coming, there are a lot of other great features that make it worth buying.

The street mode is just a fancy name for story mode, but what's great about this is that there are a bunch of different storylines from G Gundam, Endless Waltz and Gundam 0079. They all flow relatively well (even though Neul Zeal shows up in Endless Waltz street mode). Whats even better is that some of the voice actors actually show up for some small (yet still chessey) dialogue. The best part of Street mode is that when you use your special, you get a short few seconds for your character to say something before he unleases it. One of the best mecha has to be the Heavy Arms Kai since all it does is shoot continously for an insane amount of time.

However, there is one big dissapointment of the game. The packing says that there are over 30 mobile suits to choose from. While this is true, you only start out with 16 in VS mode (the majority of them are new). So if you want the others, you have to play through all the story modes on Hard. I recommend getting a memory card so you can save your progress.

Pros:
-Better backrounds
-Voiced dialogue
-Longer than the first one
-More mecha
-Better specials
-Endless Waltz mecha (need I say more)

Cons:
-You only get 16 mecha to start with
-Long and boring credit sequence when you beat the game
-Some parts are really hard
-Extended life on bosses
-Limited jet propulsion

Overall, GBA2 is worth the small price and then some. If you have to buy one last game for your Playstation, make it this one. You won't regret it.

Better than Gundam battle assault 1

Gundam battle assault was not too good of a fighting kind of game. It lacked depth, and had a bad selection of mobile suits. but now all you gundam fan/PSone owners, here is gundam battle assault 2! Play as 30+ suits which series includes Gundam Wing (fight as all 5 gundams etc.), G-Gundam (an awsome series coming august 5th to cartoon network 5:30 ET), and of course Mobile Suit Gundam. (the one that started it all). It also has 3 story modes for all 3 series playable and a good versus mode. This Gundam game should definitely be worth $20.00.

Gundam Battle Assault 2

This game is awsome I preordered it and I can't wait till it comes out. You can be everybody from Gundam Wing, G-Gundam, and Mobile Suit Gundam. You can also play as the boss charecters from the first Battle Assault. There is also a versus mode where you can fight another friend. You can also unlock Epyon in the game if you beat all three series and use all the mobile suits in hard mode just telling you if anyone who in reading this wants to know.

This game rocks!!

Every true gundam fan should get this game.First let me tell you that this game pretty much like street fighter and The graphics are pretty good for a playstation and the sounds are extounding probably because there the real sound from the show and same with the voices there the real voices from the show witch make this a great game but thats not the only reason.The other reason is there are 30 gundams. Now tell you i have this game and its not an easy game were you get all the charecters and then you just beat the game well its a lot harder than that you have to earn like 20 of the gundams and some of the boses seem like its impossible to beat.But ounce your an expert and can beat a level 9 heavy arms then you can beat any boss there is.Well i just wanna tell you that you wont be dissapointed if you bye this game youll get your moneys worth and its only 20$.

Please, this game is "The Ulimate VideoGame Ever"!!!!!

The ultimate video game is coming and I already preordered this baby and you should too. This game has 30 gundams and more. From Moblie Suit Gundam to GundamWing this game has it all. If you dont get this game you will be missing one of the greatest games of all time. If your a gundam fan this is the game for you.DeathSyhte was my favroite gundam, Whats yours?

Ok, now THIS is a true Gundam fighting game. Battle Assault 1 was kinda..., especially since they butchered the original game to squeeze in Hiro Yui. This time around, there was no fooling around, and everything is just as it should be. The fact that the Wing Gundam... was replaced with the MUCH better Wing Zero Custom made me VERY happy. The storyline is also ten times better, and the inclusion of G Gundam got my attention VERY fast. The diversity of mobile suits is also very good, with 30 to choose from. Unfortunately, you need to unlock 14 of the mobile suits by playing and beating the story mode. That's pretty much the only downside to this game, so, I give a whole 5 star rating. If you like Gundam, GET THIS GAME!!!!

The large ones fall hardest

I love this game, you can play as Wing Zero Custom, DeathScythe Hell Custom, Burning Gundam, Gundam Maxter, or Gundam in the street modes. The battles can range from hard to easy(with the hardest one being the battle with the mobile suit that three times larger than you). All in all, I love this game, but then again, I love Gundam Wing and G-Gundam!

I Have Been hooked on Gundam since 1998 and my heart still burns a healthy fire around Gundam! This Game here: Gundam Battle Assault 2 sounds like the best Gundam Game (that is in English and not Gundam W Wing Endless Duel) ever! I Can Finally pick my fav MS, XXXG-01D2B Deathscythe Hell Custom! (and GF13-001NH11 Master Gundam from Mobile Fighter: God Gundam) and iv heard rumors of JDX-00X Devil Gundam appearing in the game somebody please confirm this for me please! Since i live in Nova Scotia Canada i must wait a while before i can ever see this game....but it will be worth the wait!

This game is so tight I got it the day it came out and as soon as I got home I ripped away. The bad thing about the game is for you Wing fans reading this, Heavyarms Custom, Epyon, and Tallgeese 3 you have to beat the game on easy,normal, and hard or fighting all four bosses or defeat all eight enimies. All in all this is great game for Wing and G-Gundam fans, but if your a U.C. or original gundam fan you'll like the game anyway. I highly reccomend it

This is the best gundam game ever, and the fighting is awsome, sorta like tekken. The graphics are good(For ps1 standerds) and this is definetly worth your money.
Error on Review of othe customer: This coming from a G Gundam Fan. You said Burning Gundam is called Shining Gundam on the show. Domon Kashu (main character) Pilots Shining gundam until it is destroyed. Then he pilots Burning gundam, which is way more powerful and has cooler attacks (erupting burning finger, shenkio tenkioken)

So everything is cool about this game and then some so buy it.
