Gundam Battle Assault

I had a feeling this game would be more than less, since it's on playstation and not playstation 2 or dreamcast. the line is pretty good, it's a dang shame that wing zero, tallgeese, or any other favored gundams from gundam wing aren't on this game beside wing gundam. the special moves are lack luster and limited. why does dodging take away power from your life and why do you have a limit on your shooting powers? basically this game has no appeal to me what so ever. thank god i got this game free instead of wasting my money on it. if you want a real good gundam game, then write to bandai or somebody cus this isn't worth it.

This is a great game because of all of the characters and pilots you can choose from. Plus,it's a good challenge[and sometimes a frusterating one]. You can also unlock secret characters with GameShark. I know it's 2D fighting,but what the heck? It's still a great game.

Gundam battle assault is a 2d game so the graffics are not the best but the old school style is really cool. It would be nice to be able to use Deathscythe,Heavyarms,Nataku,and Sandrock, but their are alternatives to those gundams so dont get discuraged. For "the money" its worth it.

First, Answer for John's Q? There is a PC Game base on Techi, but sorry man, it is in Japanese. Now About the Gundam Wing Battle, put it in a simple way, this game is pure fun. It takes a gamer to know it!

Gundam: Battle Assault is a good game. There are just a few quirks that Bandai (the company that always messes up) had to manifest. For instance, off the surface, who's gonna buy the game? People who watch Gundam Wing on Cartoon Network, thats who. How many characters from GW are in it? 2. And only 1 gundam that anybody realy knows about. Heero and Trez are the only GW chars, and Wing Gundam is the only GW gundam selectable. So don't buy this game based on the title, its not what you think. Gameplay wise, the movement of the actual characters is somethin' else....I've never seen such a fluid motion before. And its pretty good graphics for simulating an anime. It doesn't have very good replay value. I mean, I beat the game the night I got it and I haven't played it since. Not having Death Sythe Hell and Altron, or even some endless waltz gundams realy did it in for me. If you're a die hard Gundam fan, and not JUST Gundam Wing, then I'm sure you'll get a kick out of it. If not, use your own discretion. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz, but I have a hard time liking this game.

This Game Is Awesome ! I am a big fan of fighting games. When I saw this on the shelf, I looked at it having No Idea Of what gundam was all about. The pic`s on the Back cover looked good and it was the last copy it the house, so i bought it..

The game play is is not 3-D , Its a 2-D(Side-View) That Pans In & Out during play, Very Nice feel... smooth control with large cartoon style graphics..

There are a variety of gundam`s to choose from all with there own moves and combos..

If You are thinking to rent or purchase this one, Go for it!!

I own this game and I love it! It is so much fun. I always play as the gundam GPO2a and if you type in left up right down square triangle circle at the title screen you get the awesome Char's zaku!

If you like Gundam 0079, 0080, 0083, and Gundam Wing
you will "LOVE" this game. My favorite mobile suie is
Sazabi and if you want all the characters you have to
get the Game Shark so you can get characters like Hydra
and Psycho. I only got this game a few days ago and I
can't stop playing. So if your a big Gundam fan like me
I definitely think you should buy it.

This game has the Mobile Suits of the gundam series, but it just isn't up to my standards. The graphics, concerning gundams, are good. All the gundams and other mobile suits look good. If I hadn't bought this game already I would just get the second one because it is much better. The second one has many of the same characters, but it has a better story mode. I think this gundam game is just for the gundam collectors. I would compare it to DBZ Ultimate Battle 22: the best quality is the detailed drawings of the characters.
