I was really looking forward to this after playing the PC demo for hours on end and let me tell you -- this game is great! There's so many cars, it's hard to choose. and the missions are awesome too. You need this one. I give it five stars.

Two thumbs up. Youll laugh at the language and expierience the exciting life of a gangster. I would definetely recomend it to anyone

Grand Theft Auto 2 is good. The graphics are nothing special but the fun factor makes up for that. GTA2 is highly addictive and I sat there playing it for hours. The people are tacky looking, but the graphics for the vehicles are good. Also there is an array of weapons, that are fun to use (especially if you have the cheat). I rented it and got to the second level in a few days. The levels are long and hard, though. Sometimes the arrows that guide you get confusing and there is no map during gameplay. The reason I gave it five stars is because the game it self is really, really fun, if you can get over the graphics. As I said before it is ADDICTIVE and you have to sacrafice alot of time to beat the game with all of the kill frenzies, GTA2 points ect. complete. I recommend that you should first rent it to see if you like it and if you do then buy it. (but, if you don't like this check out Driver 2)

GTA2 is the best

I think GTA2 is one of the best games out there because allthose racing games where you are going against other cars isdumb. There needs to be more games where you can run from the police because that is fun. Stealing cars, killing and working for crime bosses is great, its entertaining and exciting. buy this game.

If you have Metal Gear Solid, buy this one.

If you get excited about a game that gives you points for running over pedestrians and blowing up ice cream trucks, this is your game. Very good gameplay, provides hours of fun, and a good laugh here and there. The only thing holding it back from getting 5 stars is Metal Gear Solid (best PSX game so far) and the fact that the graphics are so -so. But definitely pick the badboy up.

This game is the best game i ever played if you played the first GTA you will love this game you rub around steal cars shoot gangmembers and shoot civilians and do jobs for gangs its a MUST HAVE!

This game is awesome! You play as a gang member for any gang you chose. You complete missions to earn money for your gang, and can be in wars with cops, other gangs, and the army. Although the graphics may be bad...it completely makes up for it in gameplay. This game offers a wide variety of weapons(including rocket launchers, machine guns, car bombs,and tazers,) cars, and missions. It is very fun to play, and has very high levels of replayablity. Everthing is always new! Buy this game....you wont be dissapointed.

An awesome sequel.

In every way, this is better than the first two games. Grand Theft Auto always felt dated, while the London add-on was a little quirky and annoying. This game fixes all of those flaws and makes GTA 2 one of the best PS One games ever to be realeased. There are plenty of new cars and weapons, and the game is faster. The camera no longer zooms in and out when you drive fast, so the game is a lot better to look at. The graphics are much better, but there is still room for improvement. If you only get to play one Grand Theft Auto game on PS One, make it GTA 2. This game is awesome!

I know everyone says it doesn't have good graphics but hello take a glance at the gameplay it is awesome! I like the chopper view and the radio option when you are in a car. The missions are great and not very complicated. If you don't have a PS2 or 50 bucks for the third grand theft auto i recommend this game to anyone. I know it doesn't meet Grand Theft Auto 3's expectations but it is a great game!

GTA2 is even worse than GTA1 on Playstation!

Ok. Let me just say that GTA 1 and 2 for pc totally rule. This conversion over to playstation never should have happened. The graphics TOTALLY stink! The gameplay TOTALLY stinks! You can't tell a tree from a car in this game the graphics are so bad! I mean seriously! I rented this game just to see if they fixed all the problems with gta1 on ps and also to see if it compared to the pc version at all. But it didn't. I literally played it for 2 minutes and turned it off. It bites! It's probably the worst playstation game I've ever played! The opening cinematics makes you think that the game is all cool but then when you actually play it it's garbage. I mean I guess all the people that gave this game a good rating never played GTA2 for PC becuase it rules! This game is a disgrace to Playstation and the Grand Theft Auto series.
