I bought this item because I heard it was a bit less strict about scoring so I could use it as a good training disc. The difficulty settings are NOT the same as on a normal DDR. On a normal DDR, you can do almost any song on almost any setting. In this game, each song has two settings, "basic" and "trick". How difficult the "basic" setting is varies by song and is denoted by stars. I can't do any song above two stars well, and I can only do the three star setting with great difficulty, despite having prior experience doing DDR. I would not call this an "easy" disc. There are only 7 out of 20 songs that I can actually do, and that's if I am being generous and including songs where my score isn't so great. Granted, I am no DDR expert, and I'm sure if you're really good, you could do all the songs. If you're looking for a great DDR disc that's lots of fun and similar to other DDR games you've played, this is not it. Also, the background graphics are not that great, especially the one for Pluto. It's actually sort of distressing to watch. I'm not saying "don't buy this disc", but I *am* saying "be well-informed of what this disc is actually like before you shell out big bucks for it". That said, I do enjoy playing this game when I feel patient enough to deal with the few songs I can do, and the training mode is really good; it's helped me in all my DDRing. All in all, this disc is fun, but is it over $100 worth of fun? Probably not.

A joke

The entire Dance Dance Revolution is a joke, to put it mildly. If you are a two left foot the concept seems attractive, but in practice you first need to buy the expensive and hard to find dance pad (a floor mat with sensors that connects to your PS and which you hop on), and then the game gets boring and difficult quickly. The music is the worst part, because you can't mix your own. This is a waste of money.

this is my review

If you have never played DDR and are under 11 (or like me cant wait for the next DDR mix!) this is a nice game for you.
If you have played DDR before, and are expecting some tough songs to chalange you get Konamix! But I like this Mix alot it has a few SUPER COOL song like Night of Fire and Higher!!!! Also if you play every song on Basic and Trick and Pass You get to play songs on MANIAC!

Great Game!

This is a great game for kids who like DDR but it's too hard for them yet want more of a challenge than the jungle book dance game. This is a very fun game but it has one flaw. SPENDING THE EXTRA [money] FOR A DANCE PAD. I got the jungle book one (comes with 2 dance pads) and I'm buying this and DDRK and DDR. You get more for your money that way!

The Dancing is Fine, but where did they get these songs?

None of the songs used in this album were popular, recognizable Disney songs. They were all from Disney, but they were all rather obscur. I was majorly disappointed.

I'll say it plain and simple: DisneyMix is the worst of the DDR series. By worst I don't mean that it's really that bad (heck: DDR is one of the best games every made in ANY form), it just doesn't compare to the other Mixes of DDR. The songs are alright but there are better on USA mix or the upcoming DDR Konamix. So I suggest you stick to those mixes or better yet; just buy a Code card ...get some imported mixes of DDR.

Love it

I just got this game and it was the best purchase I've done so far. I bought it for my child (6 yr) for her birthday and we played it for hours. The adults got the kids off of it and played it until 11pm.

It's also a great workout. You start to notice that you're sweating after your through and you can't stop.

Get your hands on it, you won't be sorry.
