I think that Tomb Raider 3 is the best game in the world!

Lara's back, and badder than ever! Only this time, she's got a handful of new baddies and new weapons. The graphics of this game are the most realistic I have ever seen! With little things such as weather affects, smoke from Lara's guns, and advandced AI, make the game seem like you're standing right next to Lara, fighting all those enemies along side her. If you liked the first two installments of Tomb Raider, you'll die for this one.
The third installment of a tired series

The Tomb Raider series has grown quite stale, and playing this new installment of the series just reaffirms the fact. The first Tomb Raider was decent, the second was lacking, and this one is basically the two combined with some new graphical specs here and there. And we all know graphics don't make the game, don't we? The game is basically set outdoors most of the time, with some temples here and there of pretty good size, but the sheer amount of frustration put into every level just isn't worth getting angry over. Whether it be the extravagant number of gunshots to kill something, or finding that little item on the ground to get you past the current area, you WILL get stuck and you WILL get frustrated way too much then it should be. I suppose Lara's trademark "gravity-defying breasts" keep this series from going down the drain by the large number of mid to late pubescent teens out there, but if you want a good PC platerformer, I'd look elsewhere.
Total pig, and the best so far

This game is going to take forever to finish. It will provide endless hours of puzzlement and fun trying to find out how to get from level to level. At the moment I am stuck on all three first levels, i.e. Crash Site, Nevada Desert, and Thames Wharf. But I will find my way eventually, I hope.
THANKS EIDOS

I am wondering whether the shopper from Ithaca is the producer or a vendor of TR3. I am a whole-hearted fans of Lara and I cannot help myself from sharing my opinion with you guys although I have just got a preview of the game. There are two new keys added to the game - duck and dash - which I longed for. But I cannot find the step left and right keys anymore. The newly added visual effects are good, especially the smoke from Lara's guns. I will rate it 4 stars at this moment but one thing I am sure - You will regret it if you miss it. Share my view with you again after I finish it.
It's gripping at first but gets tiresome.

TR3 really gripped me at first but it has come to irritate me after a few days of working my way through the levels. The imagery is great, but there area few bugs. What really frustrates me is how finicky the game is regarding the angle of a jump and whether Lara is one or two paces from the edge of the boulder she is jumping off. I bought the game to enjoy. Life is too short to spend another twenty minutes of it getting Lara across yet another stretch of water!
One of the greatest adventure games ever

Perhaps my favorite adventure movies are the Indiana Jones series. These are fun, adventurous movies that keep you on the edge of your seat. Tomb Raider III is in many ways like the Indiana Jones series except you get to control the main character and decide how the story will unfold. The visuals are fantastic and the movements are totally 3d and fluid. You deal with bad guys. You get to use many different vehicles such as a quad bike, kayak, speed boat, and a mine cart ride. You will experience many differet places like temples, jungles, the Nevada desert, the South Pacific, and even Antartica. This game includes many animals such as snakes, tigers, dinosaurs, and monkeys. You will often find yourself asking "what do I do next" and right about then you'll get a big "aha!" and figure it out. I found myself not being able to play it without spending 4 hours at a time. Bottom line: it's fun, adventurous, and the best TR game yet.
Its a great game

This is a great game, and easily teh best of the series, but I am tired of Lara Croft, and they need to innovate on this game a LOT more, because it is the same stale experience, all over again.

I like the TR games because of the action, not because of Lara Croft. The butt shots are annoying! That said, I think TR3 is very good, but very difficult. I am still stuck on the second level! The video sequences are cool. One thing though, what's with that butler following you around in Lara's house? He's creepy!
