First, my brother had the game. Then I got interested and started playing it! I was kinda dissapointed 'cause it's a bit short the game, but totally fun! You can play as Goku, Trunks, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta! And you don't have to collect little orange ball thingis to be able to fly, actually, you only have to fly when you need to get from one area to another, like from the City to Goku's house. Youre allowed to grow only up to level 50, and you can get capsules that raise your power, endurance, or strength. There are also side missions too, like having to save the womans husband in the woods, or get an autographed photo of Hercule, like stuff that you don't have to really do, but just for bonus.
So, the money is worth it!

this game is very good the story rocks i beat this game in a 2 days but i go back and do the side quests i think this is better then the first one

I absolutely loved this game!

I played the first Legacy of Goku, and it was awful. The little character was so slow that my friend actually threw her copy across the room... but this game was probably more than 10 times better than the other one.

Points:
You get to play as more than one character. (VEGETA!!)

The fighting is much much much easier than the first game. No getting killed by wolves here. The only times I died were against bosses and when I got careless.

It follows the storyline almost to the letter, with the few occaisional side quests, but those always help in the end.

You can unlock Hercule eventually.

Leveling up is pretty quick, and there are those character gates that make you want to raise your character as high as he can take it. And the bosses can be tough(how did android 18 kill me?? HOW??), so you REALLY REALLY try to get them strong. (For example, raising Gohan to level 25 before you force him to fight the Triceratops king...)

This is an awesome game. I bought the guide and I beat the game in 4 days. Enless you have the guide this game is almost impossible.

I got this game and it was great.The graphice are so so but who cares.This game is fun while you have it but after beat it it gets boring.It is also too easy.Here are my ratings:

This game isn't that great but I strongly reccomend it.Hey it is better than the last one.Maybe it is worth your'e money.Could be less but what the heck.It isn't that bad.Like I said you should try to get it.You can play as trunks,picillo,gohan,vegeta,and goku.You can turn Super Saiyan with all of them except picillo he turns super namek!you can do punces kicks blasts everything!

I also wrote a review about Legacy of Goku I. I wasn't really dissapointed in it, but after playing this game, I am!

For one thing, now you can be one of the most favorited chararcrers: Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, and of course, Goku. Each character learns three techniques, can go Super Saiyan (Or Super Namek) and Punch and Kick. There's a ton of game maps to explore, a new 3-D flight mode,quests that you use all through the game, a scouter for fiding out how strong your opponent is, and so much more! Unlike the other version, the boss fights are so much better! For one thing, you don't just randomly throw Ki Blasts at your opponent until they fall down dead. Instead, you can view their life bar and see how close you are to defeating them. The dialouge is alot better, and they actually took most of the lines from the shows and movies. There's only two downsides: One, you have to go to special "Flight Circles" to fly. And two, you have to go to "Save Circles" to save, instead of having a save option. Other than that, this game is great!

As for the future, I wish they would re-do Legacy of Goku I and call something like "Lecagy of Goku: Version 2.0" or something. As for "Dragonball Z: Legacy of Goku III," which I think will be Great Saiyaman through Kid Buu sagas, we can only expect good things. Hopefully there will be a "Dragonball GT: Legacy of Goku IV" which will be all of GT.

this one of the best dragonball z games ive played and you can play as goku.vegeta.piccolo.gohan.trunks and hercule and transform into super saiyan and fight frieza.cell.17.18.19.20.coler this game great and bye.

The other DBZ games(Legacy of Goku 1,Collectable Card Game) aren't really even compared to this one! It magnifys the gameplay by 100, because of the assorted variatey of attacks, quests characters, and the number of different Sagas. You get to play as either Trunks, Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, or Piccolo. You go on tons of exciting quests and adventures, and the characters each have their own set of different abilities and disadvantages. You play from the Trunks Saga all the way to the Cell Saga! You get to face off against powerful foes such as Freiza, Imperfect and Perfect Cell, Androids 17,18,19,and 20. All in all this game is a must buy!

i bought this game last thursday and i have barely not been playing it you can play as (and i am listing them in the order you get them)Gohan,Piccolo,Vegeta,Trunks and of course Goku. this game is really long but kinda easy but some of the basses are really hard (without senzu beans) you can level them up to 50 and there is a secret character and after you beat the game you can still walk around the world and explore as much as you want. They stayed much closer to the actual story line of the show. the only downside is after you beat the cell games and goku dies you can't control him anymore period. Even if you have never heard of DBZ you will like this game its a must buy! (walks off to play it).

Better than the Tv show.

Dbz legacy of goku 2 is better than the show because you get to move freely and train any time you want. The chareters and the enviorment look realistic.This is better than the show because when the show is finished you need to wait the next day, then you might miss the show and need to ask a friend what happend.In the game the show never ends, you could save the game and return to the place you saved it on.In the show they use sensu beans but in the game you can go to capsule corporation and use the cookies Mrs.Briefs bakes for you.The anoying part is you nedd to walk alot instead of flying,and Hercule he thinks he is the best in the game to bad you can't blow him up or kick him in his can that would be cool!The last anoying part is when you train with your friend's in the sparring area fully healed aned energized they can beat you even in super saian mode and your vegeta versing yamcha,krillan ,and even tien makes vegeta from a buly to a big haired person with armor on.this game is amusing espesialy when you have a gamecube and play it on the big screen.Buy it or miss out all the fun.
