This is a classic game to me that i will never completely forget. It has a coroperative mode, which is all i ever played. I must admit, though, the graphics are NOT very good. but if you dont care then this is a good choice

What? It's not bad...

Remembering lemings..?..the great fun you would have..but the graphics.... Yes I admit this game could do alittle upbeating to it's gfx. All and all this game is great for those who love puzzles and shot'em up's. It's like "Goldeneye" sorta. You have objectives (unclear in this) you do the objectives a new objective come's. When you complete an objective in this, it opens new worlds and doors in different levels..I love this game!... Great sounds and music. Poor pixelation (who cares!?- you put up with doom). Great Game.

not the best or worst corridor shooter

Hexen 64 might not be the best Hexen game there is, but it's not as bad as most people say it is. The graphics are definitely subpar when compared to other Nintendo 64 corridor shooters because they're pixelated when you get close to the walls and other objects. The sound is decent, but nothing special.

The gameplay might not compare to others such as Goldeneye or Doom 64, but it's not that bad. It's fun to play 2-player and try to get through the levels. The control is also good. Hexen 64 isn't at the top rank of the corridor shooters, but it's not the worst that's ever been made.

Don't buy this game!

This game is bad, simply bad. The graphics are either too fuzzy or too pixilated. The gameplay is awkward, and the sound is uninteresting. I bought this game thinking it would be similar to the PC version, I was sorely mistaken. Don't make my mistake if you're interested in this type of game get the PC version of the sequel.

It's cool!

Neither I nor my 9 year old son liked this game. Out of all the many N64 games I've played, this is the only one that has literally made me sick with the eye movement required to play it. The graphics are poor and seem too dark which makes it hard to see things. [...] Without question, the worst N64 game I've ever played. [...]

This makes Doom look like brain surgery.

I could only tolerate this game for a total of 5 minutes before I started having suicidal tendencies. When I think of the mediocre graphics I would rather play with a card board box.

It'd the bomb

If you like fightin' this is a good one, trust me unlike the other fighting game this is the only one that actualy shows blood, and has amazing graphis. Trust me you buy this, your in for amazment! But I still think Jame Bond 007 is the best game ever excisted in the history of games made!

Decent corridor shooter

"Hexen 64" isn't the best corridor shooter for the Nintendo 64, but it's not as bad as some people might say it is. The graphics don't even compare to the other corridor shooters for the system, but some of them such as the caves and the level with the star bridge aren't bad, even though they're somewhat pixelated when you get close to certain objects. The sound effects and music are good enough, the control is well done, and the game can be fun most of the time.

The best thing about "Hexen 64" is that you can play a 2-player game where you and somebody else can both try to pass a level. You can choose from certain characters such as a wizard to try and make your way through the challenging levels. I wouldn't recommend buying "Hexen 64," but it is a good game to rent.

a master peace!
