This is a fun game.You can go on many vacations like snow vac. ,island vac. ,and cabin vac.If you love or hate the sims you should still get it.Plus you can make vac. houses so you'll be in a high class place.

Well, If you can call it a game...there has never been one that reflected my needs so completely. And now a vacation, Hooray!... Until you fall in love. The sims play with you, the same way you play with them, but dont let them get too close. We went to a tropical island, and I admit it was a good time for everybody, but at around three in the morning I realized that it was an abandoned Mr.McHandy that would not be going on vacation with anybody soon. So for that, I will only give the game three stars.

My best friend,(...) has this game and I played it too!This game is great because you can do so many things like have a snowball fight,go camping,ect.

This game hasn't been released yet so it's kinda hard to write something about this game. However with that being said, I can tell you that I have all the other sim games and I enjoy them immensly especially Hot date. That one is a lot of fun. It's just like real life (only better). It entertains me for several hours. The only downside is that you MUST have the orginial Sims installed to play. (A way for EA to make money).
All in all, I have pre ordered this item not by looking at screenshots(although they do look pretty cool), but by my experience with the other sims. I also recommend Sims: Vacation to any one who have the other Sim games.
Want more fun? In the summer of 2002 you will be able to play The Sims Online with other people for [money] a month...

This game was sooooo good. I meen I love the Sims to begin with, and i have all the games so sence this is the new one I thought I would go and make a revue. I think that the sims going out for a vacation and having a hotel room is just INGENUSE! So i think whoever get the Sims Vacation it's a very very good priced game AND a very good game!!!!!!

I found this the worst sims expansion pack out of all 4 of them. When I was going to buy it, I thought that finnaly the new expansion pack is here and i'm so lucky! When I sticked it in my CD drive I had alot of fun! Yet after a week it became a little...well, boring. The having the make hotels and resorts took too long, you couldn't save when you invited a guest, and you can't make 2 families stay at the same resort. Yet it was still fun with the new objects, like the volleyball net, the new jacoosee and the carnival games. Yet I still preferred hot date, which is much better. I never stopped playing Hot Date till I got Vacation. Bottom Line : Worth buying, but not worth going crazy.

This is a very, very, very fun game. Now your original Sims can go on a vacation to a beach, forest frontier, or a winter wonderland! It's just a phone call away for your Sims! With over 125 objects plus, you'll have a blast creating your own homes, restaurants, hotels, you name it! Invite your Sims friends on vacation, or just go yourself. You can either stay at a hotel, or you can camp out in an igloo or a tent. There are no new skins, but there are a few new hairstyles. You can even have your own volleyball net in the yard! New options for greeting, kissing, hugging, saying goodbye, tickling, nagging, insulting, and more! Ex. Kissing: Sauve, peck, kiss on the cheek, polite, passionate, and romantic. Your people can die from an unknown illness and the Grim Reaper will come (if it makes you feel better, you can plea to him). The Sims Vacation just makes the Sims more fun and cooler to play! This is a must have!

this expansion was actually my least favorite one. I found that the vacation area was a bit cluttered, but still fun. The novices shouldnt start out with this one because of the difficulty of keeping your sims happy, but dont forget about ROSEBUD and all of those other great cheats. They really come in handy in this one.
Sorry this review wasnt such a great one.

I have this and Unleashed. It'd be 3 stars if Unleashed never came out. Unleashed adds things really needed. What I like is that you can go on vacation, get a shower/tub, and arcade games. Go get a box of fun right now!
