A mother's perspective

I, as a mother, CANNOT stand this game. In story mode, you can't pause in the middle of something and resume later. Not only that but you have to go to a certain area to save. It always takes my son and his friends at least five minutes to stop the game. The battles can't be paused (with the gamecube turned off) either.

I get annoyed just getting a glimps of the game. There's some Yu-gi-oh looking guy strutting around with a lame red-headed girl on his heels. Give me a break. What kind of message are we sending here! Why can't he have another boy follow him around, or better yet, let the characters be interchangable?

The battles are okay. My son really seems to enjoy them. My advice..? Save your money, get Zelda. Your money will be much better spent.

I hope ths is a great game scince it is going to be the first pokemon game I have because I did have the poemon stadiam games because I did not have N 64. The only thing I can do now is wait.

Pokemon colosseum will be really cool i mean pokemon from ruby and sapphier its going to be so COOL! the best 3D pokemon game ever! mudkip rules!

When you attatch your gba to your gamecube, pokemon r/s is supposed to unlock an adventure mode that allows you to catch the oldies.

this game rocks because of it's amazing 3d graphics and special effects i have a pokemon team of my own in pokemon colosseum it brings my pokemon to life when i play.

Pokemon Colosseum is the third game in the Pokemon Stadium series, and it's a bit different from its predecessors, in that it's not just a fighting game, but it's also the very first Pokemon adventure game for the GameCube. In Story Mode, there are a couple of evil organizations: Snagem and Cipher, who steal Pokemon and turn them into evil "Shadow Pokemon". You play as a boy who once worked for Snagem. However, at the beginning of the game, the boy causes an explosion at the hideout, wrecking its equipment, and escapes with his Espeon and Umbreon.
Soon enough, you rescue a girl with the ability to sense when a Pokemon is evil, and the real adventure starts. The object of the game is to raise Pokemon, of course, and to steal the evil Pokemon from the bad guys so you can make them good again.

Here are the pros and cons of this game.

PROS:
It's a LOT of fun (duhh).
The graphics are really good.
The background music is also really good (with the possible exception of when they use harmonicas; that gets stuck in my head).
There's a lot in it.

CONS:
The final boss is really really really really really really hard.
You can't save wherever you want--you have to find a special computer in a certain part of wherever you are. (This is EXTREMELY annoying--I almost got stuck playing it well into the night because of this.)
You can't play as a girl. However, there is a girl who follows the main character around, and you get to name her, but it's not quite the same.

Overall, this game is really quite good, if a bit frustrating from time to time, and it's certainly worth buying.

So far the data i have collected for this game is awesome. This game will be able to connect with with pokemon ruby and sapphire. The other thins i have gathered is that there will be a few surprise pokemon in the game like Feraligator.I've there might even be a role playing part of the game. i think it's called pokemon snatcher. some of the other features are the two-on-two pokemon battles. which i think is awesome.

Got the game today!

All the other reviews were done even before the game came out. How is that possible?? They are not trusting reviews.

The game is ok. There is only background music. No character talking. No pokemon sound. The game plays like the terrible Digimon game on the PS1. Its all reading.

The game might be a little better if the characters talked in voices to each other, not in text messages that you have to read.

Graphics are good. Typical of the Gamecubes limited power. If your a pokemon fan you will like this game, but it will get tiring and boring fast. You just go around battling and snaging pokemon, nothing more.

This awesome. Even though it hasn't come out itwill be awesome. The pokemon com from GOLD SILVER RUBY AND SAPPHIRE.
