Decent Game

Yoshi Touch and Go is a great game for the Nintendo DS, which offers ' simple ' gameplay, that any kid can do. It sounds simple, but it isn't as easy as it seems. You take the roll of Yoshi and Baby mario, and guide them alone with a path of clouds, and shoot enemies and other stuff with Yoshi's eggs. There are 5 gameplay modes to play, all of which different in some way. This is a great game, but it just doesn't have depth. The graphics are great for a Yoshi handheald game and all, the controls are simple enough, it's just that there isn't a story. You play the same level over and over again until you can just keep rebeating your records; which is not the funnest of all things to do. So, this is a great rental, but not worth a buy unless you like repetetiveness.

Even though I give this game straight 3's, it is just about the best game out right now for the DS.

THIS GAME IS FUN WHEN YOU BUY IT BUT WHEN KEEP PLAYING IT. IT GETS LESS FUN. BUT I LIKE THE PLAYING TWO PLAYERS. SO ONLY IF YOU HAVE MONEY YOU ARE NOT PLANING TO USE IT BUY THIS GAME. BUT IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY DO IT. PB WWC

Yoshi Touch&Go is a great game. The game uses none of the buttons, just the touch screen. You draw clouds to safely guide baby mario and yoshi away from the monsters. There are four modes. Score attack: try to get the highest score; marathon: go as far as you can without dying; challenge (this is locked): you have 100 seconds, go as far as you can; Time attack: (take a guess what this is) beat the level in the lowest time. This is a terrific and family-friendly game. Just because it's a side scroller doesn't mean that it's not good.

listen here you people who wrote "fun,but not good" and "not worth the price", this game is for well experienced players...ONLY well experienced players. those people who belive these lies that those two wrote, turn around now! this game isnt only just walking over clouds that you draw, or just shoot eggs, its a challenging game. if you are a hard core player who likes challenges then this is the game for you! oh, and for those bad-mouthers-for-games morons, i will have you know that i have scored 9336 yds in marathon,307 points in score attack, 2:52:5 in time attack, and 3125 yds in challenge with a purple yoshi that you get when all high scores have been beaten. so if you even think that this game is easy, its not!

Would be a great tech demo.... but not a great use of thirty bucks

Yoshi Touch and Go, while fun, is by no means a great "game". It is merely a way for Nintendo to show off the DS's unique cababilities. When I popped this into my DS I expected a new chapter in the Yoshi/Mario story, but as I soon found out there was no story, bosses, or anything of that nature just the same actions in different variations. This action I describe begins with Baby Mario falling through the sky as you guide him down, avoiding enemies and collecting coins as you do so. Once you hit the ground Baby mario gets on Yoshi's back where you kill/eat enemies and collect coins to get the high score at the end. While this is fun for a bit, it gets tiresome. The multiplayer is skimpy and not really worth going over. This game would have been great as a freebie thrown in with the DS seeing how it shows both touch screen and dual screen capabilities but it was instead released as a regular $30 game. Should you buy it, depends. If you are a nintendo/mario fanatic than don't hesitate. Others, wait til' it hits the $20 point.

THIS GAME IS ONCE AGAIN A MUST HAVE.I LOVE THIS GAME!SCORE ATTACK VERY EASY SO I RARELY EVER DO THAT MODE.TIME ATTACK DOESN'T GIVE ENOUGH TIME FOR MY OWN LIKING.CHALENGE MODE IS PERFECT FOR ME AND OTHER GOOD GAMERS.I ENJOY MARATHON MODE BUT,IT GOES ON FOREVER WHICH BUGS ME TO DEATH.ONCE YOU PLAY THIS GAME YOU GET ADDICTED.(LIKE MOST GAMES.HE HE.)TRUST ME YOU'LL LOVE THIS.

this is a great game 4 ppl who have a DS!
but if you don't but have a gameboy advance, there is a game just like this...
it's called "Yoshi's Island: SMA 3"
just search "yoshi's island" in the search bar here!
yoshi's island is worth it!
so if u don't have a DS but have a gameboy advace, get yoshi's island! it's just like this game! only no clouds no blowing no bubbles (exept when u get hit mario floats off in a bubble and u have to catch him before the timer goes to 0) and no auto walk ( no yoshi moving by him self! )
if i had to suggest, get yoshi's island!

this game is so cool. It is cool how you get to touch and trap enemys.their is one problem. how do you save the game. everytime i win a level and turn it off it restarts. please help me.This game is very fun and the touch screen is so cool ESPECIALLY in this game.

Yoshi Touch and go is a great game, but why do the character have to move so slow? I mean you walk 1 mile per hour it seems like. Other wise, it is a fun game for Yoshi lovers and it is really fun.
