best graphics of any SF game

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 0 / 0

street fighter ex3 has the best graphics of any Street Fighter (SF) game ever produced. The characters are huge (compared to previous SF games). The animations are very fluid and very realistic. Kicks really look like kicks, and punches accurately reflect true martial arts styles. Special moves look beautiful and amazing. The background and camera angles actually change when special moves are executed.

street fighter ex3 is 3d, which means the camera angle can move around during the fight. it doesn't move around so much that it can make you dizzy (or hard to target the enemy). It moves around enough to make it exciting and still interesting.

I spend a lot of time playing this fun game. but the biggest drawback is the challenge. On a scale of 0 to 10 with 10 being hard, this game usually has a difficulty rating of 6. I have to even minimize the damage setting so i don't finish the other guy off in 10 seconds.

the computer doesn't seem to block many attacks. similarly, some characters seem unwilling or unable to attack. most matches are less than a minute. while it may seem exciting to be 1 fighter taking on 3 opponents on simultaneously, or participate in a 2 on 2 tag team match... even on minimum damage setting, you'll be able to finish off the other guys quite quickly.

so, graphics are the best plus, difficulty is worst con. Executing the special moves is also very difficult. I've played this game for hundreds of hours. But I have only executed special moves by luck.

Still, this is a great game. And if you get it used at amazon or somewhere, it definitely is worth the less than $20 price tag that it carries.

not bad

This game was pretty good but it's the same old thing. Tekken Tag Tournament was alot better. Although it gave me mixed emotions I still love the Street Fighter series. I would still pick TTT over it.

rent this do not buy it

lets get to the point the game is fun but so were all the other sf2 games. The first time I put it in I beat it then tried it on the hard level and same thing again, won with out a loss...ok with another player but the computer is a joke.

fans of the ex series will love it

I am a fan of all the Street Fighter games and I truly love this game. It may not be the best but it is definitly NOT the worst SF game. I actually had more fun playing this game than I did playing TTT. You should at least give it a chance.

i bought this game since i'm a fan of the street fighter series. and i was very disappointed, it's slow, the characters are too big for the screen (i expected something more like streetfighter ex2 plus), no replay value (in street fighter ex2 plus u could play vs with the cpu, u chose both characters which is not possible here). the grafx are good, but the game isnt. buy marvel vs capcom or something instead.

Get this Game at Sams Club!

Alright, this game at first this game is stinks.
But later once u get new charicters and master the combos its alot more fun. Some of the charicters are pretty dumb but u get much better ones. it is worth its price.

Maybe next time

This game is a good attempt for Capcom to bring Street Fighter to the 3D arena. It adds the tag-team element that is foreign to Street Fighter predecessors (except for the new Capcom vs. titles), and the combo attacks are fun to watch. Also there is a neat exhibition game at the end of it where you can basically open a can of "" on a horde of characters that can't really attack back. However, it lacks in story, with very minimal endings for the characters. There is no reason why the characters selected in the game should be there. Why didn't Capcom choose to have more of the characters from the classic series, one will only guess. Likewise, the game itself is easy to beat (over and over again) each time unlocking a "new" character. As soon as you beat it 8 times in a row, you've unlocked all characters. Overall, this game is slightly entertaining. If you want to see where the next generation of Street Fighter goes, wait for the next one, unless you really, really want to play this one.

I recently bought this game because i enjoyed the past games for the other systems. When i put this game in i was surprised because the graphics were excellent and the gameplay was off the charts, i recommend this game to any tekken or virtua fighter lover this surpasses them all.

This series is getting old

All of the Street Fighter EX games (the ones in 3D) have been pretty bad. This one is no different. While it easily has the best graphics in the series, it should still look better for a 128-bit game. Capcom should have tweaked the controls, but it's obvious they rushed this one. Try Tekken Tag Tournament.
