Street Fighter EX-TREME 3

Just the name sounds good. If you like the Street Fighter series you'll love this. It's like the Marvel vs. Capcom in 3D-graphics. You might want to rent this first, but if not buy it, trust me its worth it.

SFEX 3, Best In EX Series!

This game rocks! Great graphics and unbelievable fighters add more to its status. I6 available fighters, each with terrific moves and good graphics compel you to the screen. After reading the reviews, I was kind of disappointed, and couldn't take the game back. (I had ordered it and it was on its way.) But after getting the game and playing it, I was shocked with how good the gameplay was and totally forgot the bad reviews people wrote about this extraordinary game. You can choose from 27 fighters,(16 are available, 9 are locked and you have to get in), each with their own special moves, super combos and meteor combos. Another feature is that this game is definetely not a "button masher", as some people wrote about another one of my favorite games, Dead or Alive2. It takes time to master the super combos, which I have, and the meteor combos, which I still have no idea to, which classifies it as a "non-button masher." This game is awesome and if you are compelled to play fighting games hours on end, this is the game for you.

A 6 year old almost flawlessly beat me because he can push buttons faster than me. They could have put Street Figher 2 from supernintendo onto cd and been better than this game.....goodnight!

i have played a lot of fighting games, and this one is by far the most fun ever! i really enjoy how you can change characters mid-battle or both can attack. it also has some funny things that made me laugh my butt off. it's also interesting how they force you to use different characters to earn new ones.

Why 16 Mega-Bites?? It's Not That Advanced......

Street Fighter EX3 is probably one of the best fighting games, but why 16 megabites? that's like, almost the whole frickin' memory card!! (I Think?)
Anyway back to the GOOD parts,S.F.EX3 has really good graphics and good controls, not to mention very good music. My favorite is Ken's.
The game does not really have a story but who cares,It's still REALLY fun to fight all those losers at the end!(hahahaha!)
The thing is,I was exspecting more of a challenge.
I beat the game in less than one minute!(seriously!)
Bison(Boss)Is Eaisier then Skullo!!(Skullo Sucks!)
Vega,Ken,and Ryu are probably the only kick A$$ guys!!
I don't think they sell this game in the stores anymore,it was #2 of the first 3 games that were for P.S.2!!
the 1st game ever was The Bouncer, then #3 was Tekken Tag.
You should probably order it from here,'cause i don't think amazon.com lets you "RENT" stuff.
sincerly,
kenny

Hated it

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm just never impressed with the Street Fighter series when it becomes a 3D game. The graphics look terrible. It looks like a 3 year old drew up stick figures and smeered poo on them and said, "look Mommy, it's Blanca!"

Really please, you can't tell me that you're impressed with the same predictable and boring fights with this game? Honestly, Street Fighter was a game that should have never gone 3D because it just doesn't work for the game because even so, you don't even have that because all you do is go back and forth. You can't get stuck in a corner but you also can't side step like Tekken.

If PS2 really wanted to impress people, releasing Street Fighter Alpha 3 would have been the smarter move. I have to say, I'm really hoping that another one of these is not in the making.

What more can I say? The title says it all. I'm really impressed with the fact that 4 characters can be played on screen simutaneously. Totally insane!

I find it funny that all the people who gave this game a bad review and only 1-2 stars, are comparing it to SF 2 from the SNES... They say "I remember when I played SF II on the SNES, Street Fighter was nothing like this" It's as if these people only played SF 2 on SNES and 10 years later they play another version which is actually quite good. Of the EX series this is the best. You have rather good graphics, decent control, and many characters to choose from. The best feature of this game is the tag feature where you can tag in your partner at any time. You can even play 2 on 2 or 3v1. The endings are pretty bad. All you get is a frame with text and after that you get to fight over 10 guys on the screen. The controls are not bad, but at times can be a bit difficult to pull off certain moves. Because of these two factors, the bad endings and not so good control I give it 4 stars. It is still a fun and addictive game though thanks to the tag feature. Although I recommend this to any SF fan, you should still rent it or play it first before you buy.

too easy and way too short........

Being a die-hard street fighter fan i rented this game. BIG MISTAKE! I took it home and popped it into playstation2 and hoped for a great game instead i got 5 minutes of beating the game. This game was not as good as half of the other street fighter titles out there. this game is not worth 50 bucks!

Graphics- 4 1/2 (out of 5)
