Way Too Easy...

Plain and simple, the first time I played the game, I beat it. There is absolutely no challenge, and when you do finally beat the game (after 10 mins.) The endings ...! I dont recommend this game at all. SF2 for Super Nintendo was much better and more of a challenge. They've really dropped the ball on this one.

Steet Fighter EXplanation....

I will start by saying this, Street fighter EX3 isn't bad at all. I happen to like it because it has lots of the original people from many other Street Fighter prequals. . . I think some of the other reviews are too had on the game, especially the one that stated a 6 year old almost beat him. I think that person just can't play fighting games well! When you think about it, maybe they need to stick to the previous Street Fighters, or take lesons from the 6 year old... Lots of these reviews just tickled me silly, but seriously, Capcom better make a better sequal to this because the mob might vote them out!

i good game but could use a little more

my friend rented this game and my friend said it was sweet so i decided to check it out i rented and in a hour i had beaten the game. no prob plus i wasn't to happy with it either the only reason i went on playing is out of sheer bordem. the graphics r so-so and the fights can be very predictable if you have my opinion buy tekken tag tournament you'll get your moneys worth at least.

A game that should've been more of a blast than before

Street Fighter was the only fighting game that captured my interest ever since I was only 8 years old. I got into it when I played Street Fighter II for the Super Nintendo. And as I grew older, I began going to arcades to find all the newly released Street Fighter games (Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III: New Generation of Street Fighters, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike). They were all great (except for Street Fighter The Movie. Digitized fighting games are so old and worn off !) ! Despite the change of each 2D Street Fighter title, they stand as one of the most popular Street Fighter titles ever. When the EX series came to the plate, including Street Fighter EX3 for the PlayStation 2, the EX series disappointed me. It was great hearing that Street Fighter went 3D, but they shouldn't have changed the fighting engine in the first place. Now let's talk about the game. Street Fighter EX3 comes to the PlayStation 2 with a lot of improvements and new modes of play. The graphics are excellent. Our favorite Street Fighters move at an incredibly smooth framerate and the special effects are eye popping. For the first time ever, you can now do tag battles, rather than just doing plain old one-on-one. The music tracks sound great, but not the voice acting and the sound effects (sometimes). And the thing that will definently grate on your nerves, are the controls. This game does not resemble the old Street Fighter series whatsoever. Street Fighter EX3, however, does not feel like Street Fighter. It feels like you're playing a faster version of Rival Schools. What's worse, Street Fighter EX3 doesn't have enough depth, even with the new modes of play. This game is too freakin' short, but not easy to beat, which makes the game much more challenging. It's not a bad game, it's just that Capcom should've made this game much better than the other EX games. Just take a look at Street Fighter III: Third Strike ! The game produces smooth animation, solid play mechanics, and a whole lot of modes of play. Third Strike was a perfect translation to its arcade counterpart. Unfortunately, Street Fighter EX3 wasn't all that cool. It's not the best Street Fighter, but fans of the Capcom series will still give it ago. But still, Capcom should've thought of a better fighting engine that would fit in the 3D universe. My first suggestion is, go ahead and buy this game ! Don't refuse, just because you read this review ! This game is great and a true must buy for die-hard Street Fighter fans. My second, and important suggestion is to rent it before you buy it ! That's the smart way ! My third suggestion is, if you want to play a good Street Fighter game, play Capcom VS SNK or Street Fighter III: Third Strike !

It's a great game. It's fun and creative because you can make your own character. It's graphics are excellent. The only problem is that the game doesn't have my favorite character, Honda.

the saga continues...

this is truly a classic, every street fighter game is a classic no matter what system it's on. i enjoy this game because it is 3D and don't get me wrong i love the 2D era which is classic, but this game has super-duper graphics. some have written that this game lacks ingenuity, how?, or that it is superficial or too easy. i say just enjoy the game for what it is...a 3D spectical.

if you are a true to the genre of fighting games than you'll love each one of them for what they have to offer. that is just the thing each title brings something great to the genre.

love it or hate it!!!

Basicaly, Capcom offers games that are a lot better than this. Try Marvel Vs Capcom, or Capcom Vs SNK 2 and avoid this one. While it is fun and original, it will become boring fast. Mark my words.

this game is not good

SF EX3 is the one fighting game you must have. The graphics are
cool. Fighting the other character or teams is challenging. If you beat the game don't stop. Each time you beat it, you get a new character. There are nine hidden characters to earn or
unlock. And just so you know, there are two other characters:
M. Bison 2 and Evil Ryu. I won't tell you any tips, you should
play it if you haven't. Trust me, you'll love it!

OK BUT...

GREAT CHARACTERS,GREAT GRAPHICS,GREAT SPECIAL MOVES,GREAT GAMEPLAY AND GREAT SET OF OPTIONS BUT NOT ENOUGH DEPTH IN THE GAME LIKE-NO STAGE SELECT,FEW AND BORING STAGES NO STORYLINE MOVIE ENDINGS,ONLY 6 STAGES TO FIGHT AND NOT TO BE TO PICKY,NO MILD VIOLENCE(LIKE A LITTLE BLOOD!)KEEPS IT FROM GETTING 5 STARS. BUT CAPCOM VS SNK 2 IS THE LAST GOOD STREET FIGHTER GAME(BESIDES 3RD STRIKE ON THE COLLECTION)TO COME OUT AND THIS IS 100% BETTER THAN THAT GARBAGE FIGHTING EVOLUTION AND IF CAPCOM WANTS TO GET BACK ON TOP IT WOULDN'T HURT TO RELEASE A 3-D RIVAL LIKE CAPCOM VS NAMCO WITH CHARACTERS FROM SOUL CALIBUR AND TEKKEN BUT JUST A SUGGESTION.
