Don't buy Half-Life!

I would not buy PS2 HL because HL is set up for the PC. It would not be the same and it only costs (some bucks) for the PC version or you can the Platinum Pack for (twice as much) which also has HL:OpFor, TFC and C-Strike. I have never played HL for PS2, but im sure that it could never beat the PC version. The original PC version is the best game out there.

The computer games have been great so with the PS2's graphics it has to be the best ever. No PS2 should be without it.

Apparently, from what ive heard, this version of half-life is going to be a totally different experience from the PC version. Its supposed to have all new levels, weapons and some other features. the graphix are supposed to be good too. I love this game on the PC and i think this will be a winner too.

Seemed good at first...

But Buyer Beware! If you have ever played the HL game for the PC, it is almost exactly the same. I own the game on PC, and know how much enjoyment it can bring, but no amount of superior graphics can make me enjoy this more. There is no reason. Sure, some of you out there may say that I'm dumb for buying a game I already had, but it was supposed to be different. They are like parallels. And deathmatch kinda stinks cuz its only 2 players, but i could still enjoy it. As for Decay, the multiplayer co-op missions. My friend and I played these and found them amusing, but short. And the 2p modes surely werent enough to make up for the misfortune of the same story line in the 1p mode. So... Overall, if you haven't experienced the joy of Half-Life, then by all means, buy this game. But, if you own this game already for another platform (PC) or something comparable to this game, you should just go on your way playing it there and not waste your money on this, no matter how superior the graphics are.

Yes this game is awsome. The best level is a secret one. Its a level where you have to fight a bunch of midgets. They jump out from behind the counter, and they cling on to your knees. They are the most vile creatures. This game is awsome. This is one of the greatest games for computer and will look even better on PS2.

Good for the PC but theres better on PS2

Do not waste your money. This game gives little fun and has no online play. Although the guns look cool there is not that many. The graphcis are pretty bad too. The coropative Decay is a total waste of time. The locking on system is (...bad). Every time you see an enemy you must press circle to lock on. Speaking of enemies they are also (...bad). You fight the same stupid looking enemies over and over with the same guns. The multiplayer is horrible. You can only face one opponent and no computers at all. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

Do not support Valve or Sierra.

This game, first published for the PC, was programmed by Valve and published by Sierra. The PC game has allowed players to cheat, see through walls, autoaim, and do other things they should never be able to do while playing multiplayer. Neither of these companies will take responsibility and it has been years since these cheats were discovered. While this doesn't apply to the PS2 game because its not multiplayer, just know that if you buy this game you're supporting a couple of irresponsible companies. My two cents.

I played Half Life for 2 hours and hated every minute of it. It is BORING. Give me some action man. This Game Is Really Horrible. Can I please watch the intro for 30 minutes without being able to skip it please????? Do yourself a favor and by Max Payne or MGS2.

this game has made an impressive imprint upon my life, or should i say, half-life?(haha,eh...) anyways, the graphics are far superior to the pc version. and the thing actually has a story line? OH. MY. GOD. a story line, and there aren't any cutscenes! and the control is very responsive, even though nothing really beats a mouse and a keyboard. but hey, you don't have to suffer, it let's you plug in your mouse and key board.hallelegiuah.the sound is eerie, and it sends a slight chill down my back every time ihear a guard scream in pain. as for the ai, it's definetly not HALO, but it does a good job.so for this game,...

This version of Sierra's Game Of The Year is excellent. The Graphics are sharp,clear,and they are more fun to look at.Buy it and try it for your self, but don't take it for my words.
