This game is perfect for all the people who loved the past AC games for the original PS. The graphics are awesome and the yes the controls can be a bit difficult in the begining but they get a lot easier after about an hour. Also the new "extension" parts that you can add to your AC make it easier to defend and move around. The only bad thing about the game was the number of missions. I felt there could have been more. But overall the game is worth buying on my book. Especially for the price.

Armored Core 2 is gonna have a ton of new features and hundreds of mech parts that you can mix and match. Your mech can be really fast or really powerfull. This game is gonna be on my games to buy list!

This game is great with a capital "G". With many options ranging from Mech upgrades to choosing the overall ending of the game, it is sure to be one of the PSX2 Classics!

This is one of the best games for the PS2 right now. If you got PS2 and want to really see what is can do buy this game. It has awsome wepons a ton of boards and outstanding graphics.

I think this is one of the best PS2 games out right now. The company pushes it as a great multyplayer game, but I think single player mode is most entertaining. After beating the game however its replay value is almost soley as a 2 player game.

With the release of the ps2 I instantly picked up this game. Its playability along with the ability to redesign your mech down to the last screw provided me with hours of enjoyment. It takes a while to get used to the control system and to master the in flight weapons battles that come out of most multiplayer battles. One definite advantage to this game is the ability to create multiple mechs and save them onto your memory card. After being saved there you can then go to your friend's house that has a ps2 (yes I know this doesn't happen yet, but it will) and the two of you can pit your mech designs against one another in the arena.

I would have to say that this game is a definite must for anyone that is into battle tech, mechwariers, earth siege or any of the other mech based combat games.

Has to be the best Mech Game ever!

I never got PSone so I never got the original Armored Cores but when i seen the cover of AC2, I knew right then that i had to rent this game. Eventually I bought it. It's a simple game on normal mode...never tried it yet on hard...It has a good plot. This game never gets old. After you beat the game you can have a overweight core and not enough energy core. Also you get all the missions unlocked. The Arena is challenging and your AC is so customizable with a whole lotta parts. This is a game that I was proud to get.

This is the next step in the armored core saga and it's great. Better graphics help to make it better than the others. The arena whick has 50 oppents which you can challenge and if you win you go up to that rank. GOOD GAME!!!

OK.Maybe the title is over recting..But hey!!The truth needs to be said!!It's a fast paced battle game that is only for serious gamers that know how to handle EXTREME pressure.I spend most of my time in the arena,but the missions are ok...but anyway.There are ovaer 14 mechs u can make and 3 u can keep.Well its really awesome and the moneys worth it...It's got graphics that blow ur mind away and awesome voice recognition.It's commands are nicely appointed and work.Making it hit the 5 stars for Fun Factor,Sound,Graphics,and Personality.
