it is a really good game! if you are in to robots and fighting you should buy this game. tons of things to do and tons of of things to buy. if you just got a ps2 you need to buy this game!

Guess what Armored core is a pun eh! Your CORE is made of ORE and you have fireARMs. ARMORED CORE. Get it? Anyway, I don't have a PS11 so obviously I don't have AC11 either. I heard its really cool though. I'm an AC fan on PS1. I beat AC1 and the ad-ons. I own #1. They're so cool. I heard a lot of cool stuff about AC11 and I can't wait to get it once I have PS11. To become a raven - mercernaries who take combative jobs for a paying company - you must pass a test. Then you may take on some of 40 missions or so. To earn credits and upgrade you mech's parts. There are hundreds of parts, weapons, heads, cores, FCS's, arms, legs, option parts, etensions, radiators internal mechanisms and more all for you to customize your mech with. It'll blow you away. You can find secret cheats and parts and play any mission with any AC, overweight or not once you have beat it. You can be a gladiator and fight 50 of the most fearsome ravens to become the master of arena. The controls are cool aparts from it lacking analog and with human plus enhancments you may shoot you lightsaber thingy. You also fight ACs in missions. Do all this to get 100% then make emblems and more robots to kill with. Its also realistic both combatively and financially. There are probably multiple endings like in Metal Gear Solid. Battle for Mars. Get Email Keep a record and more. If you have a PS11 like I soon will, by all means, get this game!

This game is horrible! If you enjoy wasting your money than this is the game for you. The graphics are the only thing that makes the game seem exiting. The missions enventually get extremely boring...
I personly recomend a game such as Final FantasyX or Capcom VS. SNK2. But.. if you fancy a waste of time and ...{money}, than ....HAVE FUN WITH ONE OF THE WORST GAMES OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!

Great game play. Missions hard and graphics superb. Only problems i had with it was the turning speed was too slow. by the time u did a 360 degree turn , ud be dead. another thing is u have to pay for damages and ammo u waste in a mission. I tend to enjoy far combat and machine guns. I would lose money on almost every mission cuz of my guns.

Armored Core 2 is a fine addition to my PS2 Library. It offers good graphics and sound, and extremely fun gameplay.

You will not be able to just pick up a controller and start playing. It takes a little bit of time to get used to the controls. Once you do, you are in a for a fun, Mech experience.

The thing I enjoyed most about this game is that I can choose either missions to complete, or 1 on 1 mech battles to earn money to upgrade my mech. The 1 on 1 battles can be pretty tough. You will die a lot until you learn how to control your mech quite well. Once you do, you will still find some of your Mech opponents to be quite challenging.

Overall, this game is a winner, and offers a unique, yet fun style of gameplay that can not be found in any other PS2 game. Mech fans will surely love this. All others should give this one a try as well.

Armored core is a fun game, but I don’t think it’s a good game. I believe this was the first game I really really enjoyed on the PS2. Unfortunately, I didn’t think it was worth the hype and the expense of getting the machine. Honestly, I felt as if I could have played it on my N64 and saved [price]. It was disappointing because there was so much potential with the combination of the platform and the genre. Yet, it was the same as always. I enjoyed the game, but I think if you want a fun game that shows you the power of the machine spend your money on Twisted Metal: Black or wait for Metal Gear. I think Armored core is no better than what a lesser machine can run. As a result, spend your money elsewhere and find something that makes your PS2 sing.

This game it a mager hit!! If you play this game do mitions untill you get to a destroy reserch team then go to arena and kill every one!! The higher you go the more money you get for winning!! trust me it is a live saver!!

This game is perfect for all the people who loved the past AC games for the original PS. The graphics are awesome and the yes the controls can be a bit difficult in the begining but they get a lot easier after about an hour. Also the new "extension" parts that you can add to your AC make it easier to defend and move around. The only bad thing about the game was the number of missions. I felt there could have been more. But overall the game is worth buying on my book. Especially for the price.

Armored Core 2 is gonna have a ton of new features and hundreds of mech parts that you can mix and match. Your mech can be really fast or really powerfull. This game is gonna be on my games to buy list!

This game is great with a capital "G". With many options ranging from Mech upgrades to choosing the overall ending of the game, it is sure to be one of the PSX2 Classics!
