Not the bomb, A bomb

I'm a HUGE fan of the show and was REALLY, REALLY looking forward to this game.

But aside from some impressive voice work (except Anna Espinosa) and a pretty decent story that ties up some lose ends from the television show, this is pretty sub-par. Even the action is kind of akward.

Don't buy it, rent it. It's very short and very easy

Alias fans unite in this fast-paced action game with real cast voices and awesome effects and graphics. I love Alias and this fun, challenging game. The digital Sydney is so good, it makes me dream of having Sydney walk off the screen and join me for drinks after the game.

Good game for Alias fans

Decent game, but it gets tough (impossible?) in that last level.

I highly recommend this game to everyone. Yes, ALIAS was one of my favorite television shows, which added to my great experience with the game, but even an outsider would love it. The characters were great, and looked like the actors who play them in real life. The voices were also the voices of the actors, which was great. The actual game was challenging, but solvable, and very fun! The story was like just another episode of the show. In the game you get to hack into computers, tail Sark, steal weapons, free prisoners, and basically beat the bad guys. The graphics aren't top notch, but they are very good. You, as Sydney Bristow, get sent on many different missions, which are all different and exciting. You would think the game would end after some missions, but then HQ sends you on a few more. It's really great for the story to keep going like that, because I didn't want it to end! At one point Sydney even gets trapped and has to call HQ for help, where you get to play as Michael Vaughn for a little while. The dialogue is great and sounds like what they would say on the show...Especially with Marshall, the op-tech guy. He is hysterical as always...
Anyway, I could go on for hours about how great this game is...Again, I would like to say that I HIGHLY recommend this game, especially to the ALIAS fans out there. It's truly amazing.

Creepy characters, clunky controls

Despite the fact that the actors from the show lent their voices to the game, Alias is only mildly entertaining. The game box promises "relentless spy action" and "cinematic tension", yet does a great deal of falling short. Most of the missions are drawn-out and some of the action inconsistencies are frustrating (sometimes Sidney can jump across ledges, sometimes she can't) and attempting to solve some of the objectives will either leave you scratching your head or smashing your PS2 against the wall. Try not to get creeped out as Sidney's eyes shift back and forth like the ones in a haunted house ghost picture or how about Dixon and Marshall? The faces look pretty good, but the video game bodies don't match, giving them a bobble-head appearance. And what about that skimpy ending? Was that a rush job or what? One redeeming quality I found was the cut scene where Marshall gets slapped several times. That was good for a laugh.

At this point, the game is several years old and most likely vanished into oblivion, but for the occasional late-comer (such as I was), consider yourself warned. The game isn't totally bad, but it's far from great.

Unfortuanutley i think this game will stink. I like the series but come on how many games off of TV shows have really been any good. Just putting in my thought.

If you like the movie - you will like this game even more. It has everything a REAL game has to offer. The moment you play - you forget the real world and you are hooked. Bewitch yourself and play ALIAS.......

Anyone who is a fan of the show, will like this game. How can you not? Its got all the of pulse pounding, nail biteing, costume changing suspense. I had to beat up Sark, drug him, put him in a wheelchair and wheel his ass out of a building full bad guys?! I was sweating bullets playing it. But you need a strategy guide to play it. There's no way you can complete the game without one.

I Wanna get it!

I have played Dark Angel and I love the action! SO I think that Alias will be a great game! I've never seen the series but I've heard of it. And I've seen screenshots. I think it looks like Dark Angel. The graphics in Alias rock. The outfits look cool. The Sydney looks like herself. Intense action. What more could you ask for? I can't wait until it comes out!!! When I play it, I will write a review to help others decide if they should get it.
