The game's beach loading screens that feature Slater's voice-over inviting you into the scenario and its entertaining, attainable goals set a new standard for the genre. Pro Surfer's superb graphics and mood-setting background music ensure you'll have your way with the waves. One caution: The dozens of maneuvers listed in the manual can be daunting.
