Ancient Warfare: Punic Wars lets you act out what is arguably the most important war of the ancient world. The Punic Wars were a series of conflicts between the two largest nations of the Mediterranean: Rome and Carthage. The forces involved, and the casualties suffered, were the greatest of the ancient world. The outcome was the destruction of Carthage and the rise of Rome as a massive empire. In the time period presented here, between 300-200 BC, Rome will face both the might of Carthage and the surrounding threats of Celtic and Iberian tribes -- even rival Italian states.
