In Herdy Gerdy, players assume the role of a herder named Gerdy, whose father has been put to sleep by the Master Herder—a character who's hesitant to give up his position as the guardian of the Acorn of Life. Players hope to find a cure for Gerdy's father and enter the tournament to become the next guardian. To win the tournament, players need to herd a variety of different animals into the pens located throughout each level.
