Players can take on the role of their favorite Zoids TV show characters, including Bit and Van. You can pilot 40 different Zoids and customize them with more than 100 weapons. This game is coming out for Game Boy Advance and Game Cube. I think that it is best though, to buy it for Game Cube because the graphics and controls will be better.

Features:

* Mission Mode: Fight for the Empire or the Republic in the ongoing story for control of the Planet Zi
* Battle Mode: Climb into your Zoids and wage war
* VS. Mode: Go head-to-head in awesome two player Zoids combat
* Fists Mode: Inflict damage by using advanced fighting methods in a confined arena
* Unlock new modes by mastering various storylines and missions

Bottom Line:

At last, Zoids fans can battle with their favorite Zoids. And this game is only on Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance!

this game is an awsome game.my favrite zoid is the blade liger which has speed and is best in close range combat but they won't put it in mission mode.the game is pretty hard.and if you want a mid range zoid with good fire power get the shadow fox.it's armor piercing laser can take down that scorpion dude.but the best zoid is blade liger leon.so if you think this will be easy think again.but if you like hard games buy it.

Ok, the people on this page that give this game 1 star are just CRAZY!!!!!! I've been a zoids fanatic for 4 years!!!!!!!!! There are reasons that people give this game 1 star: #1: Its there first time EVER to try the GameCube, #2: They NEVER been a Zoids fan, #3: They might have got a scratched disc, and #4: They gave up to quickly because they could not play it correctly! Let me tell you something, I went through a LOT of complocated stuff just to get a GameCube AND Zoids Battle Legends, IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!! Ignore the people that wrote stupid 1 star stuff. When you buy this game,all you got to do is just relax,be calm, and adventually you'll get it!!!! Now, if you don't think that you want this game you don't have to get it. I'm just giving you advice that might be useful someday if you want this game. If you find this game to hard one day,what ever you do,DON'T GET ANGERY! JUST RELAX! Take a break from it for a couple minutes. Anyway I give this game ''5'' stars because of the fact that I'm devoted to Zoids! P.S. Please, PLEASE do not lisin to the people on this page that give this game 1 star,or you will miss out on all of the fun!(it makes me sad when I read '1' star reviews.)

i only bought this game at first because i'm an anime fan, but i was pleased. The game has great graphics, and lots of action. You can customize your zoids, and in the zoids battler story line (blitz team, etc..) you purchase new zoids and parts. In the chaotic century like mission mode you are either republic or empire. You start of small, but with each mission you earn new and better parts. EAch type of mode has four save files, but they all go by very quick. Fortunately the battle mode you can infinately play over, but it will get boring. In the 2 player modes, you can load zoids from the battle missions. This game is very much worth the price, and you should by it.

I'm a fan of Zoids and I saw this game and thought that some games based off anime aren't that good I decieded to want a while. If you are a Zoid fan this is the game to get. You get to piolt almost any Zoid you've ever seen. I give this game 5 stars out of 5 stars!

ok, listen up.

when you have low life, you will see an EX above your life bar at the top of the screen.this means that you can use your special attack(for instance liger zero will use strike laser claw).to use this attack, stand still and HOLD X,Y,AND A.DON'T LET GO OF THESE BUTTONS UNTILL YOUR READY TO ATTACK.here's a list of what the zoids will do when they attack.

zero panzer: full burst
zero schneider:seven blade attack
zero jager:double strike claw
gun sniper:weasel unit total assult
beserk fury:charged partical beam or gun.

this game is going to be great!i like zoids and looking forward to it.once i get it i will play it all day.i heard there are secret zoids called diablo tiger and i'am really looking forward

I've been waiting forever for this game to come out. It is definitely going to be worth the wait. You can play like over 30 zoids. Liger Zero rules man. You can even play story mode of the republic or the empire. It is awesome. I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out.

This is one of the most unique games ever!
It is so addictive and the gameplay is to great to even describe!
You will love it even if you have never seen any of the shows.
It is quite a challenging game.
The strategy that you must put into it is fantastic.
If you like strategic, challengig,totally awesome games then you will definitely like Zoids Battle Legends.
I just got the game yesterday,played for hours, and there is still so much that I have not seen.
It is sort of a combination between Zoids Vs. and Zoids Vs. 2, I think they did this so they could release Zoids Vs. 3(will be released in Japan on September 30) as Zoids Battle Legends 2.
Here is the review from the back of the case:
-Pilot and fight with up to 40 classes of Zoids equaling over 80 individual Zoids.
-Modify Zoids for battle with over 100 weapons, parts, and system upgrades.
-Play as 1 of 17 well-known characters including Bit, Van, Fiona, and others.
-Choose from 14 battlefields.
-Inflict damage 4 different ways: Mission Mode, Battle Mode, Vs. Mode, and Fists Mode.

That is a great compliment to a game becauseit takes alot to get me interested in a game,then buy it and not put it in analphabatised stack The gamebatised has 4 modes, mission mode,battle mode,vs mode,and fist mode.Mission mode is "story mode"were your some new guy piolting cearten zoids they give you.You can choose you side Republic or Imperial.Battle mode is where you can buy and custimize zoids(my favorite mode).VS mode is a one on one battle with you and the cpu or you and someone else. Fist mode is the same as battle accept you need to knock the person off the edge.all in all it's agood game.
